Chapter 32: Ghosts Strike Back, Part 2
Richard and Vic meanwhile floated to the new and improved medicare room where Yamato and Juan are at.
“There’s Mosquito and Dragonfly…” Richard said. “Don’t know if they’ll see us, but this will be a test.”
“I don’t want to know what the aftermath will be like…” Vic said.
“Don’t worry, there’s a lot more ghosts here. Just echo out when we’re in danger.”
“Ok…”
Juan and Yamato meanwhile were looking at the medicare room.
“It seems that Fly and Mantis has done a really amazing job remaking this.” Juan said.
“Indeed…” Yamato said.
As Yamato turned around, he saw Richard as a ghost.
“Juan!” Yamato shouted as he turned Juan to the ghost. “Look!”
Juan then saw Richard’s ghost.
“Oh well, what do you know!” Juan shouted. “Maggot’s ghost! Looks like it’s true!”
Richard then floated away.
“Should we let Mira know?” Yamato asked.
“Nah, let’s let her see it for herself.” Juan replied. “For now, this will be our little secret.”
“Alright…”
Richard then floated back to Vic.
“How did it go?” Vic wonders.
“Good.” Richard replied. “Somehow they didn’t attack.”
“Oh thank God…”
“Now, let’s find the other ghosts and find Fly and Mantis.”
Meanwhile, Malcolm and Lyric were searching for clues in a supply closet.
“Anything?” Malcolm wonders as he checks drawers.
“Nope.” Lyric replied as she was looking outside. “No one is coming, yet.”
“Good. We need to see what is really going on…”
Malcolm then found a document.
“Ah! “History Of CODE: Insect!” Hopefully this will solve this issue!” They shouted.
Malcolm then opened up the document to look at papers.
“Lyric, look at this!” Malcolm said.
Lyric then walked to what Malcolm was reading.
“Oh my…” Lyric said. “Is this for real?”
“Seems likely…” Malcolm said. “Let’s keep reading… There’s more than just 2 games that we heard and experienced…”
Nat and Franklin meanwhile were still waiting outside of a hallway for Richard and Vic’s ghosts.
“How long are they gonna keep us waiting?” Franklin wonders. “Honestly, let’s just–”
“--Look!” Nat said.
“Huh?”
Franklin and Nat then saw Vic and Richard with the other players that died in the game to become ghosts. Nat then gave Franklin their Fly Visions to see the ghosts.
“It’s you guys! Caterpillar, Centipede, Grasshopper and… Beetle?” Franklin wonders.
“Long story short, I was almost a psycho.” Fritz replied. “And now everything is all good.”
“I see… Now, what’s the plan?”
“First off, get Kendall and tell them to meet you two at the cafeteria.” Vic replied. “We need them with us.”
“Franklin, find Kendall.” Nat said.
“I guess I’ll do that.” Franklin said as he gave back Nat’s Fly Visions. “Stay safe.”
“You too.”
Franklin then walks away to find Kendall.
“Ok, now let’s get going.” Richard said. “Hopefully this will go smoothly…”
