Chapter 10: The Killing Commences, Part 1

Fritz meanwhile was alone in the kitchen. He was slowly touching his fingers.

"This game…" He said, "I swear to God this game…"

Fritz then saw Malcolm and Lyric walking by.

"Looks like we gotta clean the kitchen." Malcolm said. "I got the dishes."

"I'll look at the cabinets and see if there's… Bugs in them." Lyric said, worried.

Malcolm then turned to Fritz.

"Whatcha doing here, Fritz?" Malcolm asked. "Or should I call you Beetle by your Code Name?"

"What? Me? Nothing!" Fritz replied. "I'm just finding tasks here and maybe surviving! You two do what you do, I'm just gonna head out."

"Uhhh… Ok?"

As Fritz left the kitchen, he took deep breaths.

"Dodged a bullet…" He said, "Literally."

Fritz then saw Richard.

"H-Hey!" Fritz said.

"What do you want?" Richard asked with a frown on her face.

"Is there any gear that we have?"

"Pretty sure you have some, because I checked and unfortunately I don't."

Fritz then waved his hands around to open up his inventory.

"Woah, I see…" He said as he got out a Beetle Machete. "A Beetle Machete? Interesting…"

Fritz turned to Richard.

"Thanks." He said,

"For what?" Richard wonders.

"Just thanks."

"You're welcome?"

Fritz then walked away as he approached the cafeteria. He looked around and saw Ivy in the kitchen.

"Ok… In order to survive…" Fritz said to himself. "Don't trust anyone, not even myself…"

Fritz then walked into the kitchen.

"Caterpillar?" Fritz asked.

Ivy turned to Fritz.

"Yeah?" Ivy wonders.

"What are you cooking?" Fritz asked.

"Nothing, why?"

"Because it's about to get sizzling."

"What are you–"

Fritz then opened up his Beetle Machete and started to attack Ivy. Ivy dodged the attack.

"HEY!" Ivy shouted, "WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!"

Fritz then smiled with insanity.

"Oh, I'm already not trusting the likes of you." Fritz replied.

Ivy then pushed him away as she crawled out of the kitchen. Fritz got up.

"I WILL kill you, Caterpillar!" Fritz shouted. "JUST WAIT!"

Ivy then started to escape the cafeteria, out of breath.

"Oh my God…" She said, "Why is Beetle trying to kill me? What's wrong with him?!"

Susie then crawled down a hallway and saw Ivy out of breath.

"You ok?" Susie asked.

Ivy then turned to Susie.

"Centipede!" Ivy said as she crawled to her. "You have to help me!" Beetle was trying to kill me!"

"You're serious?" Susie asked.

"Yes!"

"Were you in the cafeteria earlier?"

"I was!"

"I see… Let's go find the security camera panel."

Inside the cafeteria, Fritz was slowly walking out of the kitchen.

"These bugs will surely face the likes of me…" He said, "Especially that Monarch Butterfly bitch…"

From the cameras, Mira was watching Fritz.

"Beetle…" She said, "Although you're starting to become a threat, I won't put the blame on you…"

Mira then used her ability to send a small magic sack to Fritz.

"Consider this as a gift." She said, "If you want to keep going…"
