Chapter 42: Dragonfly’s Turn, Part 1
Nat meanwhile was with the ghosts of Vic, Fritz, Lyric, Malcolm, Richard, Ivy, Susie and Chloe.
“Don’t worry.” Nat said, “This will all be over, once we actually take down Mira. I just know it…”
“Look!” Fritz shouted.
“Huh?”
Nat then saw in shock as they saw the ghosts of Franklin, Penelope, Sofia and Ollie.
“Wh-What happened?!” Nat shouted.
“He got us…” Franklin replied. “...but! I got him!”
“If he’s dead, then where’s his ghost?”
“I… I don’t know…”
Yamato’s ghost meanwhile appeared as Juan was in the computer room, destroying the computers with his Dragonfly Lasers.
“Juan.” Yamato said.
Juan then turned to see Yamato as a ghost.
“What the hell happened to you?!” Juan shouted.
“Mantis got me.” Yamato replied.
“Damn it…” Juan said.
Yamato then saw the destroyed computers.
“And what the hell are you doing?!” He shouted at Juan.
Juan then slowly laughed a bit.
“I just want to unleash my rage, so I smashed these computers to death.” He replied as he twitched a bit.
“...I get the feeling that you’re crazy.” Yamato said.
“Not yet… Not until I find that Ant fucker and kill them to their grave!”
“Good luck with that. I’ll be by your side as I watch you lose your sanity, bit by bit…”
Nat meanwhile was looking around outside of where they’re looking after the ghosts as they got a revolver.
“Nothing…” They said, “I guess I can just relax now…”
As Nat turned, lasers were fired. Nat jumped as they went inside. Juan meanwhile was using his Dragonfly Visions to fire the lasers. Yamato’s ghost was still with him.
“Fly is in there…” Juan said. “I will fuck them up before Ant and their friends…”
Inside, Nat was taking deep breaths as they were hiding behind a desk. Franklin’s ghost was with them.
“You saw Dragonfly?!” Franklin shouted.
“I did!” Nat replied. “I don’t know what to do!”
“Ok, calm down! This is totally different from where we used to handle them…”
Juan then opened the door and looked around.
“Oh Fly!” Juan shouted. “Old Dragonfly is gonna fuck you up!”
Juan then saw the ceiling vents door opened.
“Clever…” He said, “Very clever…”
Yamato’s ghost then smirked.
“They just made a mistake.” He said, “Those glitchy bugs make their habitat in the vents.”
In the vents, Franklin’s ghost and Nat were crawling through them.
“This is a bad idea!” Nat shouted, “But I have to escape somehow! Thanks for the boost, Franklin…”
“Don’t worry, this is all for a reason.” Franklin said. “Try and find the cafeteria to where Kendall and their friends would be at.”
“I got it…”
