Chapter 27: Security Increased!, Part 1
At the meeting room, all of the remaining insects that are alive are gathered as they were then seated, confused except for Roger, Belinda, Yamato and Juan. Mira appeared to take her seat.
"Hello, once again, insects." Mira said. "It appears that we have an emergency meeting at this time."
Mira then turned to Roger and Belinda.
"What has happened?" She asked them, "Did one of you start this meeting?"
"I did." Roger replied. "Ladybug was mysteriously killed."
Everyone else except for Belinda, Yamato and Juan were shocked.
"Vic was killed?!" Kendall shouted. "By who?!"
"I don't know, Kendall..." Roger replied. "Something invisible just got her to drop dead with a slash or something."
"Oh, great, we have ghosts now?!" Penelope shouted.
"I don't like ghosts..." Sofia said, softly.
"I ain't afraid of ghosts!" Caroline shouted. "And hey! I do believe them though!"
"Everyone, shut it!" Mira shouted.
Everyone was then silent. Mira took a deep breath.
"Now, Firefly... Ladybug was mysteriously killed, yes?" Mira asked. "And you don't know what killed her?"
"Yes, Ladybug was mysteriously killed." Roger replied. "But we don't know what actually killed her. It was something... Invisible."
"I see..."
Juan raised his hand.
"What is it, Dragonfly?" Mira wonders.
"Can I talk to you, privately?" Juan asked.
"Certainly."
Mira looked at the other insects.
"You all wait." She said, "Dragonfly wants to privately chat with me."
Mira and Juan then teleported to a private room to where Richard was eliminated.
"What's wrong, Juan?" Mira asked.
"I feel like these ghosts sabotaging us is what caused you to have us kill Ladybug." Juan replied. "There has to be some way where we can see the ghosts."
Mira sighed.
"Juan. Listen to me." She said, "You, CANNOT, see a ghost! Even with advanced technology in this game, it's still impossible!"
"How the... What?!" Juan shouted. "There HAS to be a way to see ghosts with this technology here!"
Mira took a deep breath.
"Since you want to be desperate, I'll see what I can do." She said, "And afterwards, never ask me for anything again. Got it?"
"Got it." Juan replied. "Sorry for my outburst."
"It's ok. Tell the other insects that I'll be there in a moment. Need some time to think."
"Ok."
Juan then teleported away as Mira then sat on a chair to think.
"Fucking hell..." Mira said, frustratingly. "What the fuck do I do? This technology sure is advanced, but can it really see ghosts?"
Mira then sighed once more.
"Fucking hell, Juan..." She said, "Why did you make this difficult for me?!"
Mira then straightened her glasses.
"There's gotta be something for me and my henchmen to see ghosts..." She said, "But what?"
A few seconds later, Mira then got surprised.
"Ah! Now I know what!" She said, "And hopefully this "sabotage" of those damn ghosts can end!"
Back at the meeting room, everyone else was waiting for Mira.
"So... What's next?" Kendall wonders.
"Hell if we know..." Penelope replied. "This game is already starting to get repetitive..."
Mira then reappeared. The other insects look at her.
"Ok, after some time to think, I decided to know what to do." She said, "But, that will be explained to the announcer. So yeah, the meeting is over, I guess."
The other insects then teleported away. Mira sighed again.
"If this is what Juan wants, then it better be worth it..." She said, "Otherwise, I'm done spoiling his ass..."
