Chapter 30: Secret Meeting

About a few minutes later, Franklin, Sofia, Penelope, Ollie, Nat, Malcolm and Lyric were in the cafeteria.

"What are we all doing here?" Ollie wonders.

"Ant, Wasp, Firefly and Arachnid called us all here." Franklin replied.

"Probably for a meeting of some sort..." Nat said. "In private..."

Ollie then looked at two cameras in the cafeteria.

"No, there's cameras!" He shouted,

The cameras were then down after being glitched.

"Huh?!" Ollie shouted.

Sofia then used her Cicada Earbuds and Remote Control to launch out a sound wave at the cameras, hacking them.

"Whoever is behind the cameras won't watch us." Sofia said. "Just as long as I'm still in the room."

"Yes!" Penelope said as she kissed Sofia on her face. "We needed that, babe!"

Sofia blushed.

"Thanks, Penelope..." Sofia said.

Kendall, Caroline, Roger and Belinda then appeared.

"Hello, everyone..." Kendall said. "Me and my friends here have called you all to attend this secret meeting, without Mosquito, Dragonfly or Monarch Butterfly involved."

"Why not them?" Ollie wonders. "What's going on?"

Everyone then took their seats on the cafeteria benches.

"So... What has happened recently is that the Kingdom has undergone a hard restart." Roger said. "It will take a while. Some of the cameras are working."

"Not here." Sofia said. "I hacked them."

"Thank you. We needed this meeting to be private, without being spied on..."

Kendall then got up from their seat.

"Now... I think we all know what's really going on here." They said,

"Tell us right away." Malcolm said. "We need to know."

Kendall sighed.

"We were all kidnapped by Mosquito, Dragonfly and Monarch Butterfly!" Kendall said. "And go into a coma to be part of this game that they're controlling!"

Everyone except for Kendall, Roger, Franklin and Nat were shocked.

"They use the game to capture us from the real world and suck us in here!" Kendall said. "And now it looks like they're trying to cheat to win and kill us all! Including the ghosts of our fallen allies!"

"Th-There's no way!" Lyric shouted.

"Yes! We're being serious!" Roger shouted.

Franklin raised his hand.

"I believe Kendall here." He said, "They were curious about me and Nat's concentration and playing under a character! We told them everything! We played this game last time! Somehow, one friend won the game and Mira and her henchmen escaped!"

Everyone else was shocked.

"Those three..." Lyric said. "They really want us to die for no reason..."

"What do we do?!" Penelope shouted. "I demand revenge!"

"Oh we WILL have revenge" Roger said. "But we all need to think of something in order to play along..."

Meanwhile, Mira was browsing through the cameras. She saw Yamato fixing the control panel while Juan was fixing the computers in the computer room. She then noticed that the other cameras were hacked or down from The Kingdom's restart.

"Where are those damn ghosts at?" She wonders, "And the other remaining insects?"

Mira sighed and started to think.

"Maybe I need to see a ghost up-close..." She said, "And for the other remaining insects... Maybe they're fixing stuff in the cameras that are down..."

Mira sighed once more.

"This is gonna suck through the ship's reboot..." She said, "Damn you, Juan..."
