Chapter 22: The Explosive Aftermath
Yamato and Juan then looked around.
"Yup…" Juan said. "It's a pretty powerful explosion in here…"
"It really damaged the whole medicare room…" Yamato said.
Juan then saw in shock as he saw the bodies of Susie, Fritz and Chloe.
"Those three!" Juan shouted at Yamato. "They're all dead!"
"Gah!" Yamato shouted. "No way… Which one of them started it?!"
"I don't know! Should we report it?!"
"I guess so!"
Yamato then waved his hands in the air in front of the bodies to activate a report button. He pressed it and all of the insects were then teleported to the meeting room. Every insect got their seats as Mira appeared.
"Ah, everyone is in their seats." She said as she sat down as well. "Very well. Now…"
Mira then got to her and turned to Yamato.
"Mosquito." She said, "You're the one to report this meeting, so what's going on here at The Kingdom?"
"The medicare room was blown to bits, Monarch Butterfly." Yamato replied. "And three of us died there, Centipede, Beetle and Grasshopper. I believe one of them was caught in whatever explosion caused it."
"Interesting…"
Malcolm and Lyric were both shocked.
"Fritz is out?" Lyric said.
"Sounds like it…" Malcolm replied. "Same for Centipede and Grasshopper, from the words we're hearing."
Mira sighed.
"Alright… Let me think real quick, insects…" She said.
Mira's POV: Well, this is a pickle… Centipede, Beetle and Grasshopper all died from an explosive in the medicare room… I have no clue which of the three have done it, but something has to be done.
Mira sighed again.
"Ok, we won't be voting on who should be abducted from The Kingdom." She said, "But, we will be voting for volunteers to slowly but surely rebuild the medicare room. We all need some healing once in our lives, don't we?"
Everyone else was silent.
"Ok, the voting for 2 volunteers will begin now!" Mira said. "Everyone will be voting for 2 insects at a time this time!"
Everyone then started to vote. Kendall sighed and thinked.
"Perhaps Nat and Franklin can repair it…" They said to themself, "I need to see what Caroline is up to anyways…"
A few minutes later, all of the votes were in.
"Ok, let's see which of the two insects has the most votes." Mira said. "So that those two can fix the medicare room."
Mira opened up the results.
"It seems that Fly has the most votes by 10." She said, "Followed up by Mantis with 8."
Franklin turned to Nat. Both nodded seriously. They both nodded seriously at Kendall and they nodded back seriously as well.
"Ok, Fly, Mantis, I shall teleport you two to the medicare room and have you two clean up and make it new again." Mira said.
Franklin and Nat then teleported away.
"The rest of you all will go back to your tasks." Mira said.
Every other insect then teleported away.
The ghosts of Susie and Chloe meanwhile appeared.
"Well, it looks like we're ghosts now." Chloe said. "What do we do?"
"I have… No clue." Susie replied.
"I think I know what." A Masculine voice said.
"Huh?" Chloe said, confused.
"Hmm?" Susie wonders.
