Chapter 34: A Plan To End The Game, Part 1
Malcolm and Lyric were running in the hallways to hide behind a wall to see if anyone is coming to where they’re looking from.
“Anyone?” Lyric asked.
“Nothing.” Malcolm replied. “So we’re good.”
Mira meanwhile was spying on them running in the hallways through the cameras.
“Those two…” She said, “What did they take from one of the closets?”
Mira then paused the cameras to zoom in on the documents Malcolm was holding.
“No…” She said, shocked. “Those fuckers!”
Mira then activated a device to have her teleport to where Malcolm and Lyric would be at.
“They won’t get away!” She shouted. “I will stop them at all costs!”
Back to Malcolm and Lyric, they were still running in the hallways.
“Ok! We’re halfway to the cafeteria!” Malcolm said. “We need one more turn in the center on our right and then go find Ant!”
“Right!” Lyric said.
“Oh, they’re not in the cafeteria.” Mira’s voice said.
Malcolm and Lyric stopped running as they turned to see Mira behind them and a large glitchy spider which appeared to be under Mira’s control.
“Monarch Butterfly!” Malcolm shouted.
“Wh-What are you doing here?!” Lyric shouted.
Mira sighed.
“Well, speak for yourself!” She shouted, “You two got something that’s not yours! I demand you two to hand it back to me, pronto!”
Malcolm then got out their Moth’s Powder Brush and handed the documents to Lyric.
“Hold on to this!” Malcolm said to Lyric.
“Got it!” Lyric said. “And… What are you gonna do?”
“Fighting back.”
Mira sighed.
“You really wanna fight back?” She asked Malcolm. “Alright, suit yourself.”
Mira then snapped her fingers as the large glitchy spider crawled over her to roar at Malcolm.
“I’ll let you take care of business from this bug I mind controlled!” Mira said as she pointed the spider at Malcolm. “Attack him!”
Lyric then started to run.
“I’m hiding behind the center hallway to the cafeteria!” She said,
“Good!” Malcolm said. “Because this is gonna get messy!”
Malcolm then used his Powder Brush to splash brush at the spider, paralyzing it. Malcolm then rushed over to Mira.
“Here I come!” Malcolm shouted.
Mira smiled.
“You made a great mistake to approach me, Moth.” Mira said as she pulled out a revolver and shot out a bullet made of some sort of butterfly dust at Malcolm.
Malcolm was then shot by the bullet through the heart.
“PLAAAH!” He shouted in pain.
“MALCOLM!” Lyric shouted in fear.
Malcolm then falls to the ground.
“Pathetic…” Mira said. “One more bullet will finish you off. That’s what my class’s revolver does.”
Malcolm then slowly turned to Lyric.
“Lyric…” They said slowly. “Go… Take the evidence to Kendall… Wherever they are…”
Lyric had tears in her eyes as she was breathing heavily while listening to him.
“Malcolm…” She said, “I’ll do it…”
Lyric then turned away to run to the cafeteria. Mira walks over to Malcolm and aims her revolver at Malcolm.
“Pathetic.” She said, “And don’t worry, I’ll deal with your lover later.”
As Lyric opened the doors to the cafeteria, she heard a gunshot. She weeped a bit as she went inside the cafeteria.
