Chapter 12: A Murder Reported!
The doors to the control panel open up. Outside was Ollie and Chloe. They were chatting.
"Yeah, I mean, it's nice to have someone with me, now that I think about it." Ollie said.
"Bien." Chloe said as she and Ollie looked at what seemed to be Richard with a knife, next to Ivy's body. "HOLY SHIT!"
Ollie and Chloe were then scared.
"Maggot!" Ollie shouted. "What have you done?!"
"..." Fritz, disguised as Richard, was silent.
"We have to report the body right away!" Chloe shouted.
"How do we report the body?!" Ollie shouted.
"I don't know!"
They turned back to see that "Richard" was gone.
"Holy shit…" Chloe said. "Where did he go?"
"I don't know." Ollie said. "But let's see how we can report the murder here!"
While figuring out on how to report Ivy's murder, Ivy, as a ghost appeared.
"Guys!" She shouted, "It wasn't Maggot! It was Beetle!"
Ollie and Chloe didn't hear Ivy as if she didn't exist.
"Can they not hear me?" She said as she looked at herself, "Wh-What's going on? Wh-Why am I a ghost all of a sudden? Is this really part of the game?"
Kendall and Nat meanwhile were walking down the halls.
"So… You ever heard of The Foolstown Arcade?" Kendall asked.
"Not that I know of." Nat replied. "Is that where you got sucked into the game?"
"Yeah."
"Well… Me, Ollie, Sofia and Penelope all got sucked into the game from Retrovania."
"That's an arcade?"
"Yes it is… I wanted to treat my best friends with something amazing like an arcade. I don't think Sofia has ever been to one. Ha ha…"
"Heh heh, sounds nice–"
Then, alarms started to wear off. Kendall was jumped.
"Wh-What now?!" Kendall shouted.
Nat noticed the alarms, but still remained calm.
"Looks like someone has died…" They replied,
Kendall was shocked.
"W-Wait! How did you…" They wonder,
Kendall's POV: D-Did this fellow play this game before?! If so, then how does he know everything?!
"ATTENTION ALL INSECTS! A DEAD BODY HAS BEEN REPORTED! ALL INSECTS WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY TELEPORTED TO THE MEETING ROOM IN A FEW SECONDS!"
"Well shit." Kendall said as they turned to Nat. "After the meeting, I want to talk to you, privately."
"Ok." Nat said.
Kendall and Nat were then teleported away.
Ollie and Chloe meanwhile had finally reported the dead body.
"Ok, we got it!" Ollie shouted. "Wow, this game is more confusing than I thought!"
"Looks like we're teleporting as well…" Chloe said as they and Ollie teleported away.
Ivy's ghost meanwhile appeared again.
"I have to get to the meeting…" She said, "They can't let Richard be eliminated…"
