Chapter 29: Kingdom Under Fire!
The announcement was then cut off.
“W-Who will see us?!” Richard shouted. “WHO?!”
The announcement was then turned back on as it showcased a different voice, but glitchy.
“Attention Insects! It appears that the Kingdom is hacked!” It shouted, “Under new security being increased, the Kingdom’s now under great damage with more bugs running around!”
“Oh that’s just great!” Richard said. “But hey! Since we’re ghosts, they probably won’t see us!”
The announcement was then cut off again. Static was heard throughout the entire Kingdom ship.
“What’s going on?!” Kendall shouted as they and Roger were walking in a hallway.
“Who’s gonna see ghosts and why is this Kingdom ship under fire by more bugs?!” Roger shouted.
A voice can then be heard from the static.
“Hello, Insects!” A Feminie voice shouted, “Monarch Butterfly here! There appears to be some technical difficulties upon increasing the defense and security of our Kingdom!”
Kendall and Roger were confused.
“Wh-What’s Monarch Butterfly doing?!” Roger shouted.
“I have no freaking clue!” Kendall shouted.
“But don’t worry!” Monarch Butterfly’s voice shouted through the static. “Everything will be back to normal in a moment!”
“Hopefully it will!” Roger shouted. “Otherwise, something is up here!”
Mira meanwhile was outside, trying to fix the Kingdom ship.
“Come on, damn it!” She shouted, “I swear, Juan’s suggestions are ALWAYS gonna fuck something up here! Hopefully, like our last time playing this game, it will make either me, him or Yamato the victor!”
Back inside, Malcolm and Lyric were running from a swarm of glitchy wasps.
“That announcer before Monarch Butterfly came up even told us about a swarm!” Lyric shouted.
“Well this game is getting unfair all of a sudden!” Malcolm shouted. “I swear, something seems suspicious about Monarch Butterfly!”
Franklin and Nat meanwhile were fighting back a swarm of glitchy dragonflies. Franklin was using his Mantis Swords to strike back while Nat was using their Fly Visions to shoot out lasers at the dragonflies.
“What the hell is happening all of a sudden?!” Nat shouted. “These dragonflies are appearing in a swarm!”
“I have no clue!” Franklin shouted. “I feel like we’re being set up or something!”
Then, alarms started to go off.
“What now?!” Franklin shouted.
An announcement went off.
“Kingdom’s security glitched!” It shouted. “One insect must fix the Kingdom from a control panel, immediately!”
“Someone has to go fix the ship!” Franklin shouted.
“But these dragonflies just keep appearing!” Nat shouted.
Kendall and Roger meanwhile were running to the control panel room.
“Ok!” Roger shouted. “We have to find a way to make the Kingdom back to normal!”
“What do we do?!” Kendall shouted.
“I don’t know! Let’s just randomly press shit!”
Kendall and Roger then started pressing everywhere on the control panel.
“This isn’t helping!” Kendall shouted.
“Ok!” Roger shouted as he then returned to the main menu of the control panel. “Let’s just find what needs to be done!”
Then, the doors that lead out of the control panel rooms were shut completely.
“And we’re trapped!” Roger shouted. “Well, it doesn’t matter! Hopefully when we fix the ship, the doors will open again!
Outside, Yamato and Juan were searching for Mira.
“Where’s Mira at?!” Yamato shouted.
“She went to increase the security of this ship from my suggestion to see the ghosts!” Juan replied.
“You bastard! You could have killed us again!”
“Look! We need to win!”
Yamato then slapped Juan in the face.
“OW! WHAT THE FUCK MAN?!” Juan shouted.
“YOU are a spoiled piece of shit!” Yamato shouted as he walked away.
“HEY! COME BACK HERE YOU SON OF A BITCH!”
Back inside the control panel room, Kendall and Roger were making progress.
“Come on…” Roger said. “LOAD!”
“Please don’t let any bugs attack us!” Kendall shouted.
“Hey I’m as impatient as you!”
“Same here!”
Something was banging on one of the doors as it then roared.
“Speaking of the devil!” Roger shouted.
“Fuck! Me and my big mouth!” Kendall shouted.
Roger then heard a ding as he turned to the control panel.
“OK OK!” He shouted, “Kendall! Press OK!”
“OK!” Kendall shouted as they pressed the OK button on the control panel.
The Kingdom then shut off all of its power. The bugs then disappeared as the power was off. The doors were open.
“OK! LET’S GET OUT!” Roger shouted. “THE SHIP IS UNDER A HARD RESET!”
“GOT IT!” Kendall shouted as they and Roger left the control panel room.
