Chapter 43: Dragonfly’s Turn, Part 2
Juan meanwhile was running in the halls.
“I’m going to the cafeteria!” He shouted,
Yamato’s ghost was floating aside him.
“Is that where Ant and their fools would be at?” He wonders,
“I’m hoping!” Juan shouted, “Once I get there and see them, I’ll–”
“--Dragonfly! Stop!”
Juan stopped running as he saw barbed wires.
“It’s a trap…” Yamato said. “I’ve seen this when I was alive…”
“I see…” Juan said as he also saw something glowing from the other hallway. “And something’s glowing… Firefly must have used his Radar Dart by now…”
“His range is near the edge of those barbed wires…”
Nat meanwhile was continuing to crawl in the vents with Franklin’s ghost by their side. They stopped as Franklin heard crawling and small roars.
“Shhh, they’re here…” Franklin said,
“What do we do?” Nat whispered.
“If they show up, then use your revolver to kill them. It’s powerful.”
“Gotcha…”
Nat then quietly crawled until they saw a door leading to the cafeteria.
“I found it.” Nat whispered, “So what now?”
“Try to open it.” Franklin whispered back. “And then holler out to them.”
“Got it.”
Then, both heard crawling again.
“And make it quick!” Franklin whispered, “Those bugs might have found us!”
In the cafeteria, Kendall heard something crawling in the vents and pulled out their revolver to aim at the door.
“Not again…” They said, “Alright, what bug is it this time?”
Kendall then saw the door banging.
“Huh?” They wonder,
“Kendall!” Nat shouted, “It’s Nat!”
“Nat! It’s Kendall! Hurry! Get down here!”
Nat then got the door open as they dropped down to the cafeteria.
“Oww…” They groaned,
“You ok?” Kendall said,
“I’m fine…”
Kendall then got Nat up.
“Quick! Close the door!” Kendall said as the door was then closed by itself. “Or… It will close itself…”
Nat then gives Kendall their Fly Visions as Kendall sees Franklin’s ghost.
“Oh! Franklin!” Kendall shouted, “Y-You’re a ghost now!”
“I am…” Franklin said. “Luckily, I got Yamato and now he’s a ghost and is sticking with Juan, searching for Nat!”
“Shit… We got Dragonfly to deal with, huh?”
