Chapter 14: Paying The Price
One a secret part of the ship, Mira and Richard appeared after teleporting to the room. Richard was backed away while Mira walked towards the controls of the secret part.
"Now, Maggot…" Mira said. "Since you're the first one to be voted off, here's how you'll be eliminated from this game…"
Mira then activated a small ship-like vehicle.
"You get in there and you'll be blasted away from the Kingdom." She said, "And then, you'll be fired towards the sun, and let's say that you'll never see us again."
Richard then turned to the doors and tried to leave, but the doors were locked, so he bangs on the doors.
"GET ME OUT OF HERE!" He shouted. "HELP ME! SHE'S TRYING TO KILL ME!"
"No one will hear you scream!" Mira shouted. "This room we're in is under the Kingdom!"
Mira then used the control panel to control Richard and physically launched her to the small ship.
"So long." She said, "And by the way, if you see Ivy, tell her exactly why you're eliminated."
Richard tried to leave, but the small ship's doors were quickly shut.
"GET ME OUT!" They shouted,
Mira laughed menacingly.
"Two down, fifteen to go!" She shouted,
Mira then pressed a button as the small ship quickly launched out of the Kingdom. Mira sighed as she looked out the window as the ship was blasted towards the sun.
"And Maggot is now eliminated." She said, "Time to head back to the other insects."
Back in the meeting room, Susis was in anger as she punched the walls.
"DAMN YOU ALL!" She shouted with anger.
Franklin tried to calm her down.
"Centipede… It's gonna be–" Franklin said before being interrupted.
"--DON'T BULLSHIT ME YOU ASSHAT!" Susie shouted.
"Hey! I'm trying to help you calm down!"
"Yeah, well I don't need you! You can go fuck off!"
Susie then crawled away. Franklin sighed.
"Never seen a girl like her before…" He said,
Kendall and Nat walked over to Franklin.
"Hey, umm… Mantis?" Kendall asked. "I want to talk to you and Fly before this meeting is over…"
"And what's that?" Franklin asked.
"Well–"
Mira reappears.
"Ok, everyone!" Mira shouted. "Time to head back! Meeting is over!"
All the insects were then teleported away from the meeting room. Ivy's ghost meanwhile was in tears.
"Richard…" She said, softly. "I know you didn't do it… Why did that witch falsely eliminate you?"
As Ivy continues to bawl her eyes out, another ghost appears.
"I think this is part of her technique." Richard's voice replied.
Ivy gasped as she saw Richard, but as a ghost and hugged them.
"RICHARD!" Ivy shouted with glee. "OH MY GOD! YOU'RE ALIVE!"
"Well… I'm a ghost now, like you." Richard replied.
"Oh yeah…"
"Hey, are you ok?"
"Well I was crying because of your elimination, but I wasn't expecting you to become a ghost as well…"
"Me neither…"
"But all that aside, what did you say about who's techniques or something?"
"What I was trying to say, Monarch Butterfly… She's plotting it all. I have a bad feeling about her, Mosquito and Dragonfly…"
"So, you're saying that those 3 are behind us being trapped in this game?"
"I guess so."
Ivy sighed.
"I knew something wasn't right either…" She said, "But… I'm also wondering… Can we still play this game?"
Ivy then waved her hands around as controls appeared.
"And that we can." Richard replied.
"I see…" Ivy said as she looked at what she could do. "We can… Oh ho ho! Richard, we got some karma to bring back!"
