CHAPTER 3

CHAPTER 3: I'll find you someday

Jona is taking a stroll at the park when she saw some guys wearing black hoodies, laughing while smoking.

'Here we go again. -_- Yesterday I saw gangsters with tattoos and a robber and now what? Tsk tsk tsk'

'but their hoodies look nice. I wonder where they bought that. And what's with their logo? God dog? Weird. It sounds more like a cult than a gang' she felt a chill on her body after imagining some worst things that those guys can do. 'scaryy', she thought.

"Meow~". Jona stopped thinking after she heard the voice of a cat.

"Meow~". When she looked beside her, she saw a stray cat staring at her.

She approached it and says "Awwww. How cute. Who's your owner? Don't you have an owner? Can I adopt you?".

"Meow~" the cat blinks and purrs as Jona touched its neck.

"It's getting dark. I think I should go home now." Jona then carried the cat and walked home.

As she's walking towards home, she notices that there are some creepy guys following her.

She tried walking faster but the guys also walks faster.

Jona started to panic and went to the other way but she ended up getting trapped. 'Fudge! I'm lost! This alley is so dark!'.

"Hi miss! You're pretty! Have some drink with us just for this night" one of the guys said while the other two are laughing.

"FUCK OFF! GET LOST!" Jona trembled and stepped back but then she realized that she got nowhere to go. She's completely trapped, beside her are high walls while in front of her were the creepy guys.

"I like this girl. You're tough but we know you can't fight us.", the guy said and they laughed.

Tears started to fell from Jona's eyes as she hugged the cat tightly in her arms, praying to God that someone will save her.

"Hey!", the guys stopped laughing when they heard footsteps approaching them.

"She can't fight you but I can.",said by a guy who approached them.

'God answered my prayer!' Jona thought.

She's staring at the guy who just approached them. The alleyway is dark and the guy who approached them wore a black cap and a jacket so Jona can't see his face properly.

"Huuuhh? What did ya just sayy? Are ya trying to impress a girl huhh?", one of the creepy guys said.

"Just get lo-", before the creepy guy finished his words, the guy wearing a cap landed a punch on his face which made him unconscious.

"I'm not trying to impress anyone. I just simply want to fight someone.", the guy wearing a cap said as he slowly approached the other two.

The two guys got furious and were about to fight him back but before they could land a punch at him, he already punched them in the face, using his right hand to punch the guy on the right and left hand to punch the guy on the left.

'Daebak! They went unconscious with only one hit!? Gosh! God really gave me a great angel! Thank you God!', Jona thought as she looked at the guy with her mouth wide open.

"Tsk. They got unconscious with only one hit?! Weaklings!", the guy wearing a cap complained as he looked at them disappointingly.

"U-um. T-Thank you! Thank you so much!", Jona bowed while thanking him.

The guy went silent for a while then said "You shouldn't be here outside at this hour. It's dangerous especially for a girl like you. You should head back home."

He then turned his back and was about to leave but Jona talked again "Wait!".

The guy paused and turned his head slightly to the left.

"May I know your name? I want to be friends with you.", Jona asked.

The guy was silent for a while "..... no. I'm dangerous." he said.

"but you saved me.", Jona protested.

"..... If we'll see each other again.. Then maybe I'll tell you my name." and with that, the guy fixed his cap and left.

'I'll remember you.', Jona thought and smiled.

When Jona left, the guy wearing a cap watched her from distance. Making sure she went the right way and after she did, he came back to the alley and approached the three guys who slowly came back to their consciousness.

The three of them trembled as they saw him approaching. "I forgot I don't have money left to buy food. I'm hungry. Give me your shoes.", the guy wearing a cap said.

"H-here. W-we're r-really s-sorry." The three guys handed him their shoes while trembling with fear and after that, he left.

'friends huh?', he thought and all the bad memories flashed back on his mind.

'I don't need friends. I'm better off alone. Money is better than friends anyway.'

When Jona got home, she couldn't forget the guy that saved her earlier.

Jona's POV earlier:

"I'll remember that fighting skill, that back, that voice... I'll remember you. I'll find you someday", she said and fell into a deep sleep with the cat beside her.
