CHAPTER 36

CHAPTER 36: Date

“Hmm~ what should I wear?”

Jona took her clothes out of the cabinet until she found a suitable dress to wear for her dinner date.

"Ah! This dress is perfect for dating"

She then changed her clothes and started to style her hair. She also applied a bit of makeup on her face.

“Finally done!”

She then grabbed her bag and went outside. When she spotted Johan waiting for her, she quickly called him.

“Johanie~”

When Johan turned around, Jona was stunned on seeing him. Johan wore a white long-sleeved shirt paired with black pants and black shoes. Johan was also stunned on seeing Jona wearing a white minimalist dress.

They both stared at each other for a while. They only stopped staring at each other when they heard Zack’s voice.

“Oy! Oy! Oy! Stop staring at each other love birds.”, Zack teased.

Johan glared at him while Zack only laughed and gave him a peace sign.

“Zack? Why are you here?”, Jona asked.

“Johan asked for help from me yesterday and I also decided on taking Mira a date tonight too. So, it would be fun if we will have a double date.”

“Oh! Where’s Mira?”

“There!”

Zack pointed Mira, who was sitting on a motorcycle. Mira then waved at Jona with a big smile on her face.

“Let’s go!”, Johan said and took Jona’s hand.

He then led her to a motorcycle.

“Woah. Since when did you bought this?”

“Well... Zack gave it to me.”, Johan said while pointing Zack, who was already sitting on the other motorcycle with Mira on his back.

“I’ve got two motorcycles so I decided to give Johan the other one because I know he’ll need it.”, Zack said and winked.

“Oh, I see.”, Jona said.

Johan then started the engine.

“Hop in”

Jona then sat at the motorcycle and they all went to the place they’re going to.

An hour later, they arrived at the Gangnam. They then stopped at the high-class hotel.

‘Wow! This hotel is so big and beautiful. Johan and Zack must've prepared a lot.’, Jona thought while blushing.

They all then went inside and the staffs greeted them.

“Good evening ma’am. Good evening sir.”

The staffs then guided them to the reserved tables and served them delicious foods.

“Wow!”, Jona exclaimed.

“Happy Valentine’s Day, Jona.”, Johan greeted and handed her a bouquet of roses.

“Thank you, Johan. Happy Valentine’s Day to you too.”

“I’m sorry I couldn’t greet you earlier. I took my mom on a date this morning.”

“Oh, no! It’s alright, Johan. Both you and Zack really put a lot of effort into this.”

“Well, of course! For the sake of the ladies we love.”

Jona blushed but she tries to hide it but even though she’s hiding it, Johan could see through it.

“Kyeopta~”, Johan said and pinched her cheeks.

Jona blushed even harder.

“Stop teasing me.”

“You teased me yesterday so it’s my turn to tease you now.”, Johan said and laughed.

The staffs started playing the instruments and Zack, Mira, Johan, and Jona listened to the music while eating peacefully. After they ate, they all went to the rooftop.

“Wow! The city is beautiful!”, Mira said.

“I agree! We can clearly see the view of city lights here.”, Jona said.

“Well, it's not only the city lights that you can clearly see up here.”, Zack said.

“Eh? What else?”, Jona asked.

“You'll know it later”, Johan said while Jona looked at him in confusion.

They then heard a sound and saw a light going up and after a second, it exploded, forming a big heart.

“Woah! Fireworks!”, Jona said excitedly.

Another fireworks exploded, forming the words ‘HAPPY VALENTINE’S’ and ‘I ❤️U’. Johan stared at Jona, mesmerizing her face instead of watching the fireworks. Jona then noticed his gaze.

“Hey, Johan look at the fireworks. They’re beautiful!”

“You’re more beautiful, Jona.”

“Ishh. Stop it, Johan”

“It’s true!”

“Really?”

“Of course!"

"Oh! and- there’s something I want to give you.”

Johan took out the box from his pocket and opened it.

“A moon necklace”, Jona said.

Johan took the necklace out and put it to Jona’s neck.

“It suits you a lot”, Johan complimented.

“Thank you, Johan.”

“Do you know why I bought that moon necklace?”

“Why?”

“Because you’re just like a moon.”

“What do you mean?”

“Just like the moon, you give light to my dark life and led me to the right path. That’s why I’m so grateful for having you, Jona.”

“I love you, Johan.”, Jona said while tearing up.

"I love you too."

Johan leaned closer to Jona’s face and kissed her on the lips.

Jona was so surprised that she couldn’t move her body. She then closed her eyes and feel the moment. The last firework exploded and formed a big heart in their background.
