CHAPTER 5

CHAPTER 5: School Picnic

Daniel and Jona arrived at the place they planned to meet in. When Mira spotted them, she waved and smiled at them. The two waved back to them.

They spent the whole day shopping nice clothes and playing at the arcade. Jona enjoyed so much that she forgot she was in a bad mood earlier.

Two weeks have passed and the day of their school picnic finally arrived.

When they reached at the amusement park or Notte World Theme Park, Jona ditched her department and went to her friends.

"Daniel!", Jona called Daniel when she spotted him looking at his phone.

"Oh! Jona! Why are you here? Shouldn't you be at your department?", Daniel said.

"Nahh. I feel more comfortable being with you guys. Should I try switching my course?", Jona said as she laughs at her idea.

"You don't have to. We can still hang out together even if we're not classmates", Daniel said.

"But by the way Daniel, who are you waiting for?", Jona asked.

"Oh. I'm waiting for Mira and the others", Daniel replied.

Jona looked at her surroundings and she noticed that there were a lot of girls looking at her from head to toe and whispering at each other.

"What the heck? Why are they looking at me like that?", Jona mumbled which made Daniel stop using his phone and look at her.

"What's wrong?", Daniel asked.

"Do I look ugly? Or is there something wrong with my face?", Jona asked him.

"Nope. You're pretty and nothing's wrong with your face.",Daniel replied which made Jona think even more, then she realized.

"Ohh. Now I know the reason why they're looking at me that way."

"What is it?", Daniel asked curiously.

Jona smiled and said, "It's because my best friend is soo handsomee", Jona poked Daniel's side as he teased him.

"Ow. Ow. Ow", Daniel tried avoiding her fingers by moving side to side.

"Hey. Sup?", Jona and Daniel stopped when they heard Zack's voice.

"Let's go. The lines are getting long.", Zack said.

Mira and her other friends, Zoe and Joy waved at them. Jona and Daniel approached them and they all went to the floor where the rides are.

When they finally reached the floor, they were so amused of the surroundings. Jona's heart is racing because of excitement.

When Jona looked at the castle, she spotted Jace and Vasco wearing a head band with a bow design. She chuckled when she saw how excited Vasco is while Jace looks embarrassed, taking a picture of Vasco.

'I really do admire their friendship. They kinda remind me of my bestfriend in the past.', Jona thought as she looked at them with admiration and longing at the same time.

Jona stopped thinking when she saw Vasco being kicked by his junior named Leonn. She was shocked at first but she ended up laughing at them.

After that, they went to try every rides they saw. Jona felt dizzy after the rides they take. She even threw up into a garbage can.

'How embarrassing. But I can't help it cause it's my first time.', Jona thought as she stand again. She was about to go to her friends but she saw Vasco throwing up so she just went to him.

"Vasco", Jona call him out.

"Are you ok-", Jona couldn't finish her words when he noticed that a big guy is looking at Vasco angrily.

"You messing with me? Get at me!" the big guy wearing a black shirt said.

The big guy wearing a black shirt is punching Vasco's chest as he's complaining.

"Cough up the cleaning fee. You know how much this is?"

Vasco keeps apologizing to him.

"Hey! Stop that! He apologized already!", Jona said to the big guy angrily but the big guy didn't listen to her and continued punching Vasco's chest.

Jona is about to get closer to the big guy when Vasco stopped her.

"I'll do my best to repay you" Vasco said to the guy and bowed.

"Pay up, $10,000!", the guy said which made Jona and Vasco surprise.

"What's wrong?", Jace said as he approached them but Vasco just hugged him and cried.

"JACEE! Can you lend me money?"

"Yeah. How much?", Jace said as he patted Vasco's back.

"$10,000", Vasco said which made Jace upset to the big guy.

Jace was about to approach the guy but Vasco stopped him. Jace and Jona got no choice but to look at Vasco worriedly.

"Vasco, I'm not sure if this can help but here.", Jona said as she lends Vasco a $1,000. Vasco was so happy that she couldn't stop thanking Jona.

"How kind of you. Thank you Jona, I'll surely repay your kindness.", Vasco said and Jace smiled at her.

After that, she waved goodbye to them and went to the comfort room.

When she arrived at the comfort room, she saw her friends and the girls from other schools.

She noticed that the girls were looking at them with judgemental eyes which irritates her.

One of the girls from other school suddenly approached Zoe and grabbed her hair. Mira tried stopping her but she ended up getting kicked by the other girl.

"Fudge! If Zack knew about this, you'll surely die bitches!", Jona tried to butt in but the other girl ended up grabbing her hair too.

Suddenly, Crystal went flying and kicked each of the girls from other schools.

"Woahh! You're amazing Crystal! Where did you learn that? Who taught you? Can you teach me some martial arts too?"

Jona was so amused of what Crystal did that she can't stop talking. Crystal blushed of what she said.

"Well, one of my father's workers taught me.", she said and excused herself.

"Crystal is so amazing", Jona said to Mira and Zoe.

"Yes. She really is.", Zoe said.

"Seeing a girl fight looks cooler than a guy.", Mira said.

"You're right but there are some guys who looks cool when they fight too.", Jona blushed when she remembered a faint memory of a guy who saved her life.
