CHAPTER 20

CHAPTER 20: Someone to save

After Jona went to the hospital, she decided to go a surprise visit to Daniel instead of going straight to her apartment.

When Jona arrived at Daniel's house, she was surprised to see the door got destroyed.

'What the heck!? Did Daniel got ambushed?!'

"YOU CAN'T JUST BREAK INTO SOMEONE'S HOUSE LIKE THIS!!"

Jona heard little Daniel's voice.

'Daniel?'

Jona quickly went inside and saw men wearing a suit, one blonde-haired woman, and an elderly man.

"Here, take this. Sorry about that, kid.", the elderly man handed little Daniel his watch.

"Hey! What the hell did you do to my friend's house huh!? No! What the hell did you do to my friend!?", Jona furiously looked at them.

"Jona?", Little Daniel was quite surprised to see Jona.

"Daniel what's wrong? Who are these people? Why are they here?"

"I don't know either."

"Oh! Who's this girl?", an elderly man asked. Beside him is a tall, blonde haired lady with a strong built body.

"S-she's my friend.", Daniel hesitantly introduced Jona.

"Yea! I'm his friend! Who are you anyway? Why are you here!?"

"Ehem! Actually, we're here to investigate about something-", the elderly man didn't get to finish his sentence when one of his men whispered something for him.

"WHAT?! DID YOU LOOK CLOSELY!? HOW CAN THERE NOT BE ANY TRACES OF CHARLES CHOI!?"

"IF THIS IS WHERE HE PLANNED HIS FOUR MAJOR CREWS, HE MUST'VE LEFT SOMETHING!!", The elderly man scolded his men.

'Four major crews? Charles Choi? Isn't that Crystal's father?', Jona thought as she watched them confusely and suspiciously.

"You mean gun?", little Daniel casually asked while eating a bowl of ramen.

'Huh? Gun? What's going on here?', Jona got confused even more.

Daniel and the elderly man stared for a while. The elderly man mumbled some language that both Jona and Daniel couldn't understand. Then suddenly, the blonde-haired woman attacked Daniel.

"HEY! WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING!?", Jona furiously complained.

"You two! Grab that girl!"

The other two bodyguards then grabbed Jona.

"HEY! LET GO OFF ME!"

Jona tried to break free but they're way too strong. One of the men put a handkerchief on her mouth to prevent her from shouting.

"For now, let's take them to you-know-where", the elderly man smiled.

'Take us to where?', Jona doesn't have a choice but to let them take to the place they're taking them to.

"THE ONES WHO CREATED THE FOUR MAJOR CREWS ARE NAMED GUN AND JOONGOO?!"

"Yeah! Can I eat now!?"

Jona got awaken by the noise. When she opened her eyes, she saw a bowl of ramen in front of her while her body got tied. She raised her head and saw the elder man and little Daniel talking.

"Oh! Jona you're awake!", Daniel smiled at her.

"Does this girl also know anything about the four major crews?", the elder man asked while pointing Jona.

"No. I don't know anything about that. What the hell is that?", Jona replied.

"What? I thought you know something."

"My friend doesn't know anything about it so I think it would be better if you let her go and not involve her in this situation.", Daniel said while looking at the elder man intently.

"Hmm?", the elder man stared at Jona for a while and said. "I don't think I'll let her go."

"What!?", Daniel exclaimed.

"She might also be useful in getting rid of the crews."

"She's a girl! It's dangerous for her!"

"Hey! Hey! My bodyguard is also a girl but compared to my two men, she's the strongest! It's not in the gender-", the elder man didn't get to finish his sentence when Jona spoke.

"I'll do it"

"What? Jona?", Daniel looked at her worriedly.

"I'll do it but in one condition... teach me how to fight", Jona looked at the elder man with determination.

"Ohoo! I like that eyes! Sure thing! Sofia will teach you and plus! We'll give you money.", the elder man smiled.

"Are you sure you'll be alright Jona?", Daniel asked.

"I'll be fine Daniel. Besides, I have someone to save.", Jona replied and smiled.

"Oh and also! Tell me about that major crews", Jona continued.

"You tell him boy! I'm tired of explaining.", the elder man lazily told Daniel.

Daniel then told Jona the details. She was surprised to hear the words 'God Dog'.

"Wait! Wait!", Jona stopped Daniel from talking.

"What is it Jona?"

"Did you just say God Dog? Who leads that crew?"

"Oh! The person who leads that crew was Johan Seong but unfortunately, his crew betrayed him"

'Betrayed? How dare they-!?', Jona can hear her own heartbeat. She closed her eyes and clenched her fists, not minding what Daniel said.

"Jona? Jona... are you listening?", Daniel waved his hands in front of Jona.

"I've heard enough Daniel. Thank you. When are we going to start our mission sir?", Jona faced the elder man.

"Tomorrow night. At club Vivi.", the elder man replied.
