CHAPTER 39: I finally found you

Jona looked at the mirror. She couldn't believe that one of her wishes came true, which is to wear a long white elegant gown.

"You're so pretty, Ms. Mendez. Or should I say... Mrs. Seong?", Jona's makeup artist said.

"Well, I wouldn't be much prettier if it wasn't for your help today.", Jona said and both of them laughed.

The door clicked open and both of them looked towards the door's direction. They then saw Jona's mom and dad approaching them with teary eyes and a big smile on their faces.

"My daughter is a big girl now.", Jona's mom said as she hugged her child.

"Mom.. Don't cry. Your makeup will be erased.", Jona nagged while she's also holding back her tears.

"Right. Right." Jona's mom laughed.

"Are you happy, Jona?", Jona's dad asked.

"Of course, dad. Who wouldn't? Aside from me already achieving my ambition, I also get to marry my long-term boyfriend. I feel like I'm the happiest and luckiest girl to have him, dad."

"That's good to hear. Seeing my daughter happy also makes me happy." Jona's dad said.

"I'm sorry for interrupting you ma'am and sir but I think we should go now.", the makeup artist said.

The four of them went inside the white bridal car. 30 minutes later, they arrived at the Myeongdong Cathedral Church in Seoul.

When it was the bride's turn to walk in the isle, the door slowly opened and shows Jona's face. People inside the church were filled with awe as they looked at how beautiful the bride is. As Johan watches Jona walking down the isle while holding a bouquet of flowers, he can feel his eyes tearing up.

He started to reminisce those times when he was facing his hardships. Those times when he felt like he was giving up and those times when he begged to God to help him. He finally realized that God sent him an angel and that angel was Jona.
