Obito watched from on top of a building as Naruto and Sasuke exited the house and left out of his view.

He didn't know where they were going but he could have only guessed to Shikamaru. Obito narrowed his eyes. He didn't really want to 'hang out' with Asuma or guy. He didn't really want to be involved with them. But he supposed that it's only for the best.

He didn't want anyone finding out he was alive by being assigned on a mission with him. "How are my missions going to work anyway?" Obito looked into the distance and stood from his crouched position.

"I'm sure one of those graves in the graveyard is my own." Obito narrowed his eyes. He let out a sigh before he jumped from the building landing on the ground.

He just walked around getting the occasional glance from a villager. They didn't know he was Obito. It was most likely the scar that covered half of his face.

"Obito!" He heard someone yell his name and turned around. And there stood behind him was none other than guy himself.

"Maybe Sasuke wasn't wrong. He's always in the places you wish he wasn't." He put on a small smile.

"To celebrate that your alive." Guy paused. Obito waited patiently. "We thought to invite you out to dinner." Guy nodded as he pulled Obito towards a restaurant. Obito panicked slightly. "Wait, who is going to be there?" Obito stopped guy in his tracks. Surprising guy in the process.

Guy was often told it was no easy feat to stop him when he wants to go somewhere. But he never understood what they meant. Guy shrugged. "Asuma, Kuranai. People from our academy days." Obito nodded slowly. "That would include Kakashi as well." Obito shook his head.

"You don't need to pull me to get me to walk with you." Guy nodded and let Obito's arm go and started walking again.

"Usually I would have to." Guy scoffed. Obito narrowed his eyes. "I suppose." Then they entered the restaurant.

And as guy said there was Asuma and Kuranai. Kakashi was there as well staring at Obito.

No one else was there. Most likely on a mission or never really knew Obito in the first place. Like Ibiki, he wasn't ever nice to Obito. Anko is most likely on a mission. Obito stared at Kakashi and without the notice of anybody else he put his finger on his lips. Kakashi slowly nodded and turned around to face the table.

Asuma stared silently at Obito once they sat down. It's not impossible to notice, the tension between Kakashi and Obito.

"So. What have you been doing?" Kuranai finally said. The silence was making everyone uncomfortable. Obito shrugged. "Nothing." Kuranai slowly nodded. "I was wondering." Asuma finally said. Obito looked at Asuma.

"Your scar." Asuma pointed to his own face. Obito nodded. "It was when I was crushed by a rock." Guy flinched slightly. They all had been told how Obito 'died'.

"How did you live?" Kakashi finally said. Kakashi made no eye contact he continued to stare at the table. Obito was silent. "My body..." He trailed off, this wasn't going to sound good at all.

"Had been taken." Obito finished his sentence. Kakashi looked up he saw no lie on his old teammates face.

"I had been... Without realizing it imprisoned for a year or two." Asuma furrowed his eyebrows. "Who would have done that?" Asuma crossed his arms.

Obito stared silently into nothing. He hated remembering these days. But it's better to get the questions over with. "Madera Uchiha and someone named Zetsu. All I remember is waking up there. Nothing else." Asuma silently stared at Obito.

"The Uchiha ghost? Didn't he know the first Hokage? Now that I think about it should he have been dead?" Obito nodded slowly. "He was connected to a life support and that's what had kept him alive. He is dead now." Obito made no effort to put in the fact that Madera can in fact be revived.

Kuranai nodded slowly. "Well I suppose that would make sense then." Obito sat quietly for the duration of time spent in the restaurant he made no effort to eat either.

Everyone waved their goodbyes and left without saying another word. Obito looked beside him. Kakashi was waiting.

"Do not bother apologizing. I do not want to hear it." Kakashi flinched slightly at Obito's words. "I was there you know." Kakashi looked up at Obito. "When Rin had been killed. It was Madera's plan, i've been told." Obito furrowed his eyebrows.

"How could it have been planned?" Kakashi finally said. Obito studied Kakashi for a moment before saying, "I believe that the attack itself was not planned. I think me seeing the outcome of the fight is what was." Obito narrowed his eyes.

"I do not hate you Kakashi. I do not blame you either. But I don't think I will ever consider you a friend." Kakashi nodded slowly. "I hope we can work together as teammates again." Kakashi gave a light smile, though it was hidden beneath his mask.

"Of course." Obito smiled. Before their conversation could continue however it was interrupted by none other than the Uchiha clan head himself.

Obito inwardly scowled.

"I've been informed... That you are alive, Obito." Fugaku finally said after he received dirty looks from both Obito and Kakashi. "I am. Now continue with business."

Obito had expected to be greeted by the clan head or it's elders. But it was annoying that it was happening now.

"We need to be informed on your eye status as well as what you have been doing when you were 'dead'." Fugaku glared at the younger Uchiha. "I do not believe... I have anything to do with the clan." Obito finally said. Without realizing it he had been glaring down at the clan head. Fugaku's eyes widened and so did Kakashi's. "I'm afraid we cannot take no for an answer Obito." Fugaku tried to reason but was quickly interrupted. "You had never even seen my eye. I 'died' before any of the clan had gotten the chance. And before then, they had not wanted anything to do with me. So as I said before. I refuse." Fugaku stood astonished by the new Obito he found himself looking at. "We will continue this discussion later Obito. Where public eyes aren't." Obito shook his head. Confusing the clan head. "I don't think you get it. I will not follow you. I will not listen to you. And frankly. I don't think any of the elders or yourself have the power to tell me otherwise." Fugaku stood still. He expected resistance but he did not expect to be threatened. Fugaku walked away.
