Bonus chapter! number one?

My birthday is soon and as a birthday present for all the wonderful people who read this story I present a ✨bonus chapter✨. I don't know what to do but I will come up with stuff as I go :').

Naruto heard Kurama groan inside his head. Naruto put his papers down on his desk. "What is it?" It's not everyday Kurama puts in his complaints like this. Or speaks. Despite Naruto and Kurama being good friends they never really spoke to one another unless it had been small talk out of boredom or something important. Talking to each other to simply put it was usually for one another's benefit.

"The other tailed beasts are becoming aware of my presence." Naruto was silent. "What's the harm in them knowing?" He couldn't see Kurama hence Naruto wasn't in the mindscape he usually appears in when they talk, but he could only imagine Kurama eye rolling at Naruto's 'dumb question.'

The thing is, there is no harm in them knowing. It's the burden in itself of the other tailed beast knowing, and the Jinchuriki who house them.

"It's Gyūki in particular trying to contact me. Or if you managed to forget the Hachibi." Naruto nodded. "Killer B, right? At this point he would be around his same age when I last saw him." It went silent at the meaning of Naruto's words.

"The others seem aware of a second chakra presence resembling me, which means they are noticing my presence, despite me hiding it." Naruto nodded. "Maybe your getting old." Naruto shrugged.

His ears bled from Kurama screaming at him for the next few minutes.

"Sensitive topic, clearly." Naruto sighed. "So what do you plan on doing. I can't really do anything in this situation to help you."

Kurama hummed. "I bet it's zetsu's presence in my own body making me unable to hide my presence without effort." Naruto nodded.

"I always had to take extra steps to hide my presence." Naruto flipped through the papers on his desk to find of interest. And there he found one that caught his eye.

This specific document had been from the cloud. Naruto honestly didn't know why this wasn't given to him first thing.

"This seems interesting." Kurama huffed and read the paper.

"The Raikage is asking to meet the new Hokage to strengthen relationships between the two villages." Kurama hummed. "He seems unaware of your status from the future and the fact your a Jinchuriki." Naruto rubbed his chin. "It would probably be for the best if I were to go."

Naruto stood up. "I need to inform the elders before I go. I can't just leave." Kurama huffed. "Be quick."

Naruto smiled inwardly. He didn't say it out loud or Kurama would burst his ear drums again but, he really is excited to see Gyūki again.

The meeting about going to the cloud was long and boring. But it ended in eventual agreement. Shikamaru was to be in charge while Naruto was gone and Sasuke would stay to be the pillar of strength in the village.

Naruto told the elders he didn't need a bodyguard. They tried to tell him to just have one, it was the Raikage after all, but he denied. The elders didn't push much more after that.

The trip would take a couple of weeks. Though, since Naruto is traveling alone he could shrink the travel time to about a week and a half.

Naruto didn't feel Kurama go absent from his mind once during the trip. He really is excited to see the 8 tails. Even if he sees Gyūki he won't express it.

Finally. They arrived.

The cloud ninja bowed slightly to acknowledge respect to the Hokage. They were confused when it was just him but didn't ask any question's just led him to the Raikage's tower.
