I found out that balancing a job and writing is in fact very hard, whatever free time I have I just want to sleep 😭 but don't worry... Here comes another bonus chapter and a new chapter on the book I've been working on!! 😼

It has been so far a very long day. The constant buzzing in his ears, the humid heat that came seemingly out of nowhere and yet not a single breeze to accompany it.

Sasuke looked in the direction of the seemingly endless horizon that surrounded him.

He was currently in the territory of the sand. He has been here many times before, even then he often didn't have a solid purpose to go. The sand's emptiness just always knew how to comfort him. But now the sands that he grew so familiar with are not the same.

Though the change is for the better.

The sands he knew were burial grounds for people who never got the fortune of a headstone. It's for those who didn't have a name, unrecognizable.

The hidden sand became known to those who were left alive as the red sand. A simple yet grim nickname.

Sasuke looked ahead of him and to his relief there was his destination. The actual hidden sand village. You know, the village that has Garra, Temari and Kankuro.

Currently, Garra is feared. Even by his own siblings. During the war Garra became quite the topic. Many would talk about the years he spent with the burning hatred for others, how he was cruel and it didn't justify how he was now.

Garra is a prime example of when a body cannot handle a tailed beasts. Garra was not at fault for the things he did, he believed he had no other choice.

Then he died, then he was revived, revoked by his Jinchuriki status.

Garra never spoke much of his days as a Jinchuriki, it wasn't exactly his favorite topic.

But when he did...

Sasuke looked to the ground as he walked watching the glistening sand move beneath his weight. The sands red and gold tint shine from the blazing sun.

Despite him having probably the hardest out of all the Jinchuriki he met, Garra said he missed Shukaku. They hardly ever spoke and when Shukaku did it was witty remarks, insults, and manipulation attempts. But Garra missed the second voice in his head.

He would become a Jinchuriki to the 1 tails again if it meant just hearing the overgrown sand rat speak once more.

Is Shukaku technically a pangolin? (I'd have to look it up...) (Google says he is a Tanuki a Japanese raccoon dog.)

Sasuke shakes his head forgetting the memory. This isn't the time to reminisce. Especially who he is reminiscing about isn't the Garra he knew.

He is here on official business of the leaf, of course he is, what else would you think he would come to the sand for?

Sasuke sighed, the humid air and his thoughts are only dampening his already grim mood.

Sasuke had to stop in front of the hidden sand doors. They were heavily guarded.

"State your name and business." The man in armour said with no audible emotion. Sasuke studied the man for a moment. "How was he even wearing that? In this weather?"

Sasuke dismissed his thoughts. "I am Sasuke Uchiha, I was sent in instead of the Hokage, Naruto Uzumaki, he apologized for his absence but he has things to deal with as of now.

The man nodded. "If that's the case I'll take you to the Kazekage. You will speak to him with the utmost respect." Sasuke nodded.

Sasuke doesn't actually respect the Kazekage but for the sake of future relations with the Leaf he will be respectful.
