All 4 of them exited the village in a rush. Since the village now knows, or the Hokage now knows, they needed to leave quickly before the Hokage got restless for answers to his questions.

Naruto looked behind himself briefly. He wanted to stay and make sure nothing happened to the village, but it was for the better all 3 of them left to deal with the slowly evolving Akatsuki. Even now the only members of the group would have been Kisame, Jugo, Konan and Nagato, and maybe Kakuzu or Sasori. Itachi would be apart of it as well, but they have already prevented that. For the time being.

None of them knew the timeline of the Akatsuki except Obito, but he didn't even join until much later on.

"They are in the outskirts of the hidden rain. So it will still be dark and rainy." Obito said with a sigh. Shikamaru nodded. "Are they in a base of sorts?" Obito nodded. "Its one of the main meet up points with the Akatsuki, it's easiest to access and most likely the nicest out of all of them." Obito said with a shrug.

Naruto looked at Obito before nodding. Naruto's past experience with Akatsuki hideouts had usually been in large cave systems. Typically, a place the gedo statue would fit. Now that Naruto thought about it. What could they do about the Gedo statue? If any of them approached it, it made them fall to the ground unable to move. Like a huge weight was dropped on them from a high place.

"I'm not going to help you fight them. I still have things to do, that involves them." Obito said with no emotion. Naruto's eyes furrowed. "And that would be?" Obito caught the three's skeptical gazes. "I have no intention of stealing Nagato's eyes, or reviving Madera. This is a group of criminals that won't listen to reason." Naruto nodded. He understood what Obito's words meant.

Only Konan and Nagato, those two were their mission. None of the others were. All they needed to do was set the two on a correct path.

"And it's not like all the members are going to be there having a tea party." Obito said with a dark look. "If we ever sat at the same table, it was anything but a cup of tea." Naruto Grimaced. From what he remembered of the Akatsuki, they didn't gather in one place very often. Unless it was to seal a tailed beast inside the gedo statue.

They made a turn and hid into a forest. It was night now. They were not going to sleep but continue the rest of the way in the treeline until it disappears again.

Naruto narrowed his eyes. Obito's loyalty was questionable, but it wasn't something that could be easily let go of either. They needed the knowledge Obito had, otherwise they would be doing things less efficiently, and less efficiently means more time wasted.

Naruto stared darkly in the distance ignoring any occasional talking that took place. All three of the time travelers were having deja Vu in a way. Whenever they went to the hidden rain, it had been due to a meeting that they had to attend, or in other words kill people that disagreed with them.

During the war, when they were younger they believed it had ended. They thought they had won. Whoever Kaguya was, she was never revived. They had set up camps around the hidden leaf hoping to be able to rebuild but that was quickly shut down. Other nations had grown paranoid. There had been a truce when they were against Obito and Madera but it didn't last any longer than mere weeks after they had killed Madera, Madera killing Obito in the process.

Naruto laughed grimly to himself. All this thought of the time before was oddly calming but at the same time made him uneasy. They had traveled to the past. A time before the war, time when Madera hadn't even been alive. And yet here they were, still doing things that resulted in memories of the past that they lived, and hoped that no one else would have to.

Sasuke looked over at Naruto. It was clear he was thinking to himself. Before Sasuke could help rid the thoughts his friend was having they heard a crack behind them.

They all turned quickly and Obito stopped somewhat ahead of them. The tree behind them was now black, decaying and falling to pieces. Naruto grabbed a Kunai out of his pouch that was around his leg.

"Who are you." Sasuke made no attempt to wait for the enemy to reveal themselves. There was no response.

Before Sasuke could try again, his eyes widened. Snakes, snakes had encircled several trees around them and the tree they were on would soon be taken over as well.

"Get down!" Sasuke yelled and the rest quickly followed the jumping Sasuke. Sasuke landed on the ground but winced. They had been high up, they wanted to make sure to stay out of sight of any traveling Shinobi.

Shikamaru and Naruto landed behind Sasuke. Obito did not appear. Naruto scoffed. "Is now really the time for this?" Naruto said crossing his arms. And as if it were rehearsed Orochimaru and Kabuto appeared a couple meters in front of them. Although now Kabuto had been a little bit younger than what any of them remembered.

"You three are out of leaf territory. It's only fair we have a quick chat before you continue." Orochimaru said in his usual soft but annoying tone. Naruto scoffed, throwing Kabuto off guard but not Orochimaru. "We have no reason to wait." Shikamaru stayed quiet. Any movement form either of them would result in their paralysis.

"I promise I'll be quick, I just a few questions. I'm sure you've been receiving many as of late. Sorry to be a bother." Orochimaru put his hand into the air to indicate surrender. Sasuke stayed in front of the three. "Quickly." Orochimaru smiled. "It's nothing out of the ordinary." Orochimaru didn't wait for a response before continuing. "I was wondering... You three are awfully powerful in your own right! I've seen it first hand after all." Orochimaru laughed to himself. "But haven't you found it strange?" Orochimaru averted his gaze to Naruto. "You've seen it. Someone from the future, even if you weren't really trying to go all out, had given you issues with his unnatural strength." Sasuke narrowed his eyes. Naruto made no response. But it was true. Naruto did find it strange. "Well, I'm honestly intrigued by you three being from the future. So I have been doing my own little theories." Naruto's eyes widened. Orochimaru held out a scroll.
