Ch.46 One discovery then the next

Shuisi stared in awe as he watched Naruto's hand wound close and stop bleeding, nothing more than a few scabs left behind. Shuisi quickly straightened himself as he looked at his opponents.

Their actual teammate was the priority. Not the scrolls and not capturing the enemy Ninja. Those would come next.

Shuisi stared at Naruto. He stared as he saw Naruto pull out a Kunai. Before he knew it the Kunai was gone and one of the ninja were gripping their leg.

Shuisi took this as a signal. He knew compared to Naruto he would just be in the way. He grabbed his teammate and flickered out of view. He would assist Naruto once he made sure his teammate was in a stable condition.

"You damn..." Their old team leader began saying but trailed off. She stared in horror as their only protection was gone. "I wonder." Naruto began saying. "How long I was a Shinobi for." Naruto disappeared and reappeared behind the blonde and knocked her out.

The purple haired Shinobi hopped back an incredible distance. Whoever this guy was. He was the leader, or the strongest.

Naruto stared at his opponent. Before he had time to approach the Shinobi. Explosive tags were setting off below his feet.

Naruto's eyes widened and he jumped into the air. He burned his arm. Naruto winced again. Burns didn't heal as fast as stabs wounds. Stab wounds were in a way just a disconnection of nerves and flesh. Easily just put together by his healing capabilities. But burns were different. They weren't separation of anything, it was damage to his nerves and skin. ina. Way disintegration if you were to over exaggerate.

He let him arm fall to his side and narrowed his eyes. This time, the purple haired Shinobi took his chance to throw more Shurikan and Kunai at Naruto.

Whoever this guy was, he was strangely strong.

Naruto avoided most of the Kunai and Shurikan but a couple landed near his chest. Naruto sighed impatiently. He summoned several shadow clones and used them to protect himself from the incoming weapons.

The Shinobi panicked and threw himself on the real Naruto. His shadow clones disappeared. His former team leader had destroyed them.

Naruto turned yellow and grabbed the purple haired Shinobi. The purple haired Shinobi's eyes widened.

"Y-your Naruto." Naruto stopped his assault and looked at the Shinobi. "How do you know that?" Naruto studied the Shinobi. "Everyone knew about you. In the future." Naruto's eyes widened. But before he could question any further the Shinobi glowed. "I'm not winning." The Shinobi sighed and closed his eyes quickly. Before Naruto could stop the Shinobi, he blew up sending Naruto into the wall.

His former team leader walked towards him limping.

Naruto struggled to get up. He put a perfect imprint of himself in a concrete wall.

His team leader had sad, blank eyes. Before he could get his already injured arm above himself she was also glowing. Naruto quickly turned yellow and protected himself. Which worked, but he was sent full force into the wall again.

Naruto rolled over onto a puddle of blood that was left behind from his former team leader. He never even knew their names. He turned back into his normal self involuntarily.

He stared up at the ceiling. "Maybe the whole chakra drainage thing is worse than I thought... Or maybe I'm just getting rusty." Naruto slowly sat up. The constant banging of his burned arm had made the burn turn into an opened wound.

Naruto stood up slowly and looked at the destruction around himself. There were several dents and rubble around where explosions. Not to mention the amount of weaponry around.

Naruto's eyes widened. He saw the scrolls somewhat burnt but better than nothing. He picked them up and opened them. He furrowed his eyebrows. This wasn't even jutsu. This was history of the hidden leaf. He read through it and stopped.

His eyes tightened. This had words of a chakra tree. "Did zetsu put them up to this?" Naruto grabbed the rest of the scrolls and looked up at the opens trapdoor. He walked up the walls and exited.

Shuisi had been trying to treat their teammate and worried when he heard explosions. Their teammate seemed to be inflicted with a poison that was hindering his breathing but nothing more.

Shuisi looked up and looked at Naruto. "What happened to you?" Shuisi said with wide eyes. Naruto was covered in cuts and his back was all bloody both with someone else's blood and his own. Naruto also had several burns on his body.

Naruto nodded. "I'll be fine, I've had worse." Naruto looked over at the his teammate. "Let's get back I have the scrolls." Shuisi nodded. Naruto gave Shuisi the scrolls and took his teammate.

Shuisi stared behind him. "What happened to the others?" He stared at Naruto. Naruto's facial expression turned grim. "They had exploded themselves. They were from the future just as I am." Shuisi's eye widened. "You guys arent the only ones?" Naruto shook his head.

"We aren't aware if there are any others from the future but we are aware it's possible. This fight proved that." Shuisi slowly nodded. It had turned dark.

"Sorry for not being able to help." Shuisi finally said after a long silence. Naruto looked at Shuisi and smiled. "You were helping our teammate you don't need to say sorry." Shuisi looked at Naruto surprised. But he smiled as well and nodded.

Naruto looked ahead of himself and narrowed his eyes. He had been able to use Kurama's chakra, but he should only do it for defense. He felt severally fatigues from using it for one minute. Naruto slowed down Shuisi copying. We should rest. It may give us time to help our teammate. Shuisi narrowed his eyes. "I don't know any medical Ninjustu."

Naruto nodded. "I know. The poison seems to be wearing off. It's purpose was to keep him asleep." Shuisi looked at their teammate.

"Alright then let's rest. Only for a little. I want to get back to the village as soon as possible." Shuisi jumped to the ground. Naruto nodded and followed after Shuisi he place his teammate on the ground. "I want to get back to the village as fast as possible as well. But the Kunai thrown at me... They must have been laced with the same poison." Naruto thought to himself. He didn't want Shuisi to worry.
