Ch.61 The final Seal

"What.... What did you do?" Naruto said as his gaze darkened and he finally blacked out.

He felt the chakra around him change. And maybe, for the thousandth time, he was in the sewers that was Kurama's and Naruto's mindscape.

He looked tiredly up at Kurama who looked about the same way. "I had Zetsu sealed inside myself." Naruto looked at Kurama before he let his gaze fall to the floor. "You sealed him through me?" "hmph" Kurama responded. "Is he sealed inside you like you are with me." Naruto fell into his knees half of his body submerged in water.

"Yes, but no freedom whatsoever." Naruto nodded. His movements were getting slower. And so were Kurama's. "Before I go... Answer my question."

Kurama only turned his head in response. "Was black zetsu's words true?" Naruto knew the answer, it was undeniable. Kurama was quiet for a moment. "It is." Naruto nodded. He wasn't angry. Annoyed, sure. But he wasn't going to hold it against Kurama. He was to tired to anyway.

He finally fell into the rest of the water. From the silence, Kurama had fainted as well.

When Naruto gained some conciseness, he could feel a cushioned area around him. Everything was dim and clouded. But he could tell the who the figures were. They surrounded him. On his right, there had been Sasuke and Shikamaru. On the other, there had been Shikaku and Itachi. On the wall that was in front of him, Fugaku, Sasuke's father and Shuisi resided.

Naruto must've groaned because they all looked at him. Naruto felt his vision clearing and he sat up slightly. He was sore, though he didn't know if it was because he fell from a great height or if it was because of the whole sealing thing with Zetsu.

"Naruto what happened?" Sasuke finally said. I moved my eyes in his direction and took a long sigh. Shikamaru pursed his lips. "Naruto. We had found you on the ground. You were somehow okay, no broken bones, but what happened." Shikamaru said in his usual tone.

Naruto sat up all the way despite the disapproveing looks Shikaku shot at Naruto. "Don't push it." Shikaku said with a sigh. "Zetsu." Naruto mumbled. His throat felt unbelievably sore. Sasuke looked at Naruto seriously. "What happened?" Shikamaru asked again.

"Zetsu? Isn't that the guy who you guys were tracking?" Sasuke looked at Shisui. "Yeah, for a while." Fugaku looked at his son. "Was he really powerful enough to beat Naruto?" Fugaku asked with his arms crossed. Sasuke looked back at Naruto for an answer. Itachi remained quiet.

"We don't know if he can die or not." Naruto finally responded. Sasuke nodded slowly. "We had decided to seal him, if we ever saw him again." Sasuke felt his eyes tighten. He didn't like the implications.

When they had found Naruto on the ground. They didn't find Zetsu's body sealed anywhere. Did Naruto fail to seal Zetsu or... Sasuke's eyes narrowed.

"Kurama had sealed Zetsu inside himself. So when I die, when Kurama dies, so will Zetsu." Everyone eyes widened. "I'm only exhausted because Kurama tampered with my own seal heavily to allow himself to bring Zetsu to him." Shikaku nodded slowly.

"The Nine tails doesn't plan to leave your body before you die?" Naruto shook his head. "Right now, there are two Kurama's thats an unbalance that shouldn't continue." Shikaku agreed.

"There is something else." Everyone's attention went back to Naruto. "Its about the Jutsu that brought us here." Naruto felt his heart tighten. "The effects the justu had on us?" Sasuke questioned. Naruto nodded. "We aged. Our bodies are older than they look." Shikamaru was quiet for a moment before he realized the implication.

"Then I would be around 60 years old. And so would you two."Shikamaru sighed. Shikaku looked at his son. "Then the effect is... Shorter life span." Itachi and Shisui seemed crushed by the realization. "What are we going to do Sasuke!" Sasuke looked at his brother. "It's fine, despite how bad this sounds, it probably could be a lot worse." Sasuke response was quiet. But the three of them quickly accepted it.

"Then what?" Fugaku asked. Naruto stared at the Uchiha clans leader. "What will happen to anybody else that traveled with you." Fugaku asked. Naruto shrugged. "Same thing that's happening to us." Fugaku nodded slowly. "Ok." Shisui looked over at Naruto. "Man this makes you old." Naruto was silent. "Wha- Hey! I'm just like 33!" Shisui grinned.

And almost like a super power, Naruto got up to Shisui's dismay and then a chase took place. Sasuke watched as Naruto chased Shisui. "Definitely not mid sixties." Shikaku grinned at Sasuke's statement.

Obito stared in bewilderment as he watched Shisui being chased by an angry Naruto. Naruto was also covered in bandages.

Kakashi sighed. "I wonder what happened." It was kinda sarcastic. He didn't know the exact reason, but it was obvious Shisui said something Naruto didn't like. And almost like magic his question was answered. Sasuke appeared behind them.

"Come with me, I'll explain to you." Then went the conversation of Naruto was called old, because technically he is around sixty.

"Then what about you?" Obito asked with his arms crossed. He didn't like the idea that they were going to die in 10-15 years. "I'm around the same. I mean, I'm just a couple months older than Naruto." Kakashi nodded.

"Speaking of which, Naruto- this time period. People have been respecting him a lot more." Sasuke nodded. "Thats good." Sasuke smiled to himself. Obito noticed and pointed it out. And Kakashi laughed. It was just the small things now.

Sasuke looked at the direction of the makeshift Uchiha compound. It was small. Maybe unnoticed by others. But he was finally feeling complete, Naruto was his old self again, he had a family. He had everything that he could have asked for, anything he wished for as a child he had. He didn't care for that he was going to die a lot sooner. He doesn't mind. In fact, it's for the best. They are oddities in a world that's supposed to remain balanced. Sasuke shrugged at the taunts Obito threw at him and walked to the area Shisui and Naruto had collapsed.
