Ch.47 True, unfortunate colors

They must have been sitting there for only five minutes when they heard talking in the treeline behind them. Naruto was about to stand but Shuisi stopped him.

"You may have fast healing but if the people here are just civilians they will be scared by your appearance." Shuisi said as he stood up. Out of the three of them after all, he was completely fine.

Naruto nodded. "Alright. I will stay behind." Shuisi put on a small smile before heading into the treeline where they heard the voices.

Naruto felt his arm go numb. Naruto narrowed his eyes. When he had been battling the poison had completely entered his body. Lots of weapons had been thrown and hit him.

He could hear faint talking in the distance before Shuisi finally returned. "It was just civilians." Naruto nodded.

Shuisi looked over Naruto's figure. "Are you sure your alright?" Naruto looked up at Shuisi blankly. "I think I have gotten poisoned as well." Shuisi stayed quiet.

"You could have said that." Shuisi said sitting down. "I dunno." Naruto's response was short but Shuisi just looked annoyed.

"Then we can stay here for another hour. And if you don't feel any better then, I will call medical ninja." Naruto nodded. "of course."

Obito observed his surrounding.

They had been sent on a mission that requested them to aid another group of leaf Shinobi. It was strange Obito felt he hadn't been told something.

Obito didn't question though.

They had been nearing the group of leaf Shinobi, Obito could feel the chakra. But there was another group of people there as well, he supposed that's why they requested backup.

Obito looked over his own teammates. "They seem to have no idea that we are soon to battle." Obito thought to himself. He twitched.

"We are approaching them, if you were curious." Obito's words had sounded... Rude, but it will do.

Asuma's eyebrows furrowed. "Are you a sensory type all of a sudden, we have sensory ninja in our group you know." Asuma stared at Obito for a response.

A dog barked beside them. And they slowed down. A women named Hana Inuzuka started speaking. "Maybe he is... He is sensing them now." Asuma stared at his old teammate and looked ahead.

The sight wasn't great. Any leaf ninja there seemed to have been tied up. And somehow that included Choza Akimichi, Choji's father. "Why do they have the same name?" Obito stared silently waiting any command.

Before their team leader could give an order. Another group of Shinobi some of them seemingly rouge came into view. There was a tense silence as the group of Shinobi had talked to the group of leaf Shinobi that were tied up.

Obito narrowed his eye. This was getting prolonged. If they want the mission to be efficient they need to get to them quickly.

The team leader finally moved their hand and waved them towards the enemy Ninja. That was the signal to enter and engage.

Asuma looked back and saw everyone moving with them except Obito. The rest of their team seemed angry with Obito but made no comment.

"Does he have no backbone?" Hana yelled as she engaged in combat. Asuma sighed. He channeled chakra into his special made Kunai and ran towards thier comrades he was stopped by another enemy.

Since Obito didn't follow them they had been outnumbered.

Obito stared from his tree and concentrated on the tied up leaf Shinobi. Things would turn around quickly if he were to free them. Before he had time he was kicked out of the tree. Obito scoffed and moved himself to land on his feet.

Asuma realized that they were severely outnumbered. There were other groups of enemy Ninja that they had failed to notice. Asuma stared around themselves. They had formed a circle so they had no blind spots but it would only prove useful for so long.

He cussed when he saw Obito not in the circle with them. "Obito! Get over here!" Asuma yelled. Obito looked over to his teammate. Before any of them had time to warn Obito there was a ninja behind him charging with a sword.

They were about to break formation before Obito stopped them. "Don't." That was all he said as the enemy Ninja fazed through Obito.

Asuma stared in disbelief. Before Asuma had time to speak Obito was activating his Sharingan doing something. He didn't realize what he was doing until the tied up Shinobi were free and joined them in the fight.

They were still outnumbered but it wasn't as bad as before. Asuma winced as he felt the graze of a Kunai. Before he knew it he was being pulled out of the way and a red barrier surrounded them.

"What are you doing? Your just locking yourselves in." One of the rouge ninja that were with them said with a smirk.

Obito stayed silent. "Release this right now!" Hana yelled. Hana was about to reach for the barrier before being stopped by an Uchiha. "Don't touch it." Hana was about to argue but then the assault of enemy Ninja started but quickly stopped. All of them were now crouched on the ground on fire.

Obito released his jutsu and stared at the now ashy bodies of the enemy Ninja. Asuma looked at Obito to see something but saw nothing. Obito had no signs of grief or guilt nor was he saddened. He seemed... Fine.

Asuma was about to speak until he was interrupted by Choza. "Ah your quite strategic!" Obito said nothing to the compliment. Asuma stared at his friend. Obito was... Not Obito, not anymore. Before any of them turned Obito grabbed one of the unharmed Shinobi. "Who are you?" The Shinobi whimpered but looked up at Obito. "Its you. Your the one who started the 4th-" Obito put him on the ground and stared at the Shinobi with wide eyes.

Obito knew what he was going to say, but what bothered him. Was that this person shouldn't even know him. "How did you come here?" All the leaf Shinobi looked at Obito. They were all very confused.

Obito kicked the Shinobi and he hit the rock behind him. "How, did, you, get, Here?" Obito said his words slowly and the Shinobi looked up at Obito in terror. "Your not from the future too are you?" Everyone stared at Obito with wide eyes. This conversation, was strange in every way. This Shinobi was terrified of Obito and Obito was now being asked if he was also from the future. Which meant that there were more people from the future. "I am not. But I know people who are. And they would want to know how you got here." The Shinobi looked up at the sky. "I was brought here. I had no say in the matter." Obito nodded and began walking away.
