Ch.55 Buying Time

Naruto or Pein didn't move. Even though they both have every intention to fight one another. It was like, Pein was hesitant. Maybe it was because Naruto had said his real name.

Naruto didn't ponder any longer. It was to dangerous to do so. Naruto put his hands together. "Shadow clone jutsu!" At least 10-15 of copies of himself appeared. Naruto did not need to communicate. All the shadow clones dispersed. And one of them grabbed the younger Naruto.

Pein had no reaction. Suddenly 3 other Peins were surrounding Naruto. Naruto recognized them. One of them had been the summoner. Another had been the one that seems mechanical. And the other was the life gate. Not to forget the Pein that had already been there, the one who could manipulate an objects gravity and create meteor's.

Naruto stared at Pein again. "I'm sorry to pull a card such as this." Naruto said with a low voice. "Would Yahiko... Really approve of the destruction of an entire village?" Peins face twisted into that of disgust and anger but quickly into resolve. "He would understand the circumstances of my actions." Pein finally said.

Naruto nodded. "I see." Naruto was not given a chance to buy more time. He felt a loud rumble coming towards him. He turned around and saw a rhino and a giant dragonfly coming at him. Naruto scoffed.

When he had fought pain before the Rhino was a first pick then as well.

Naruto's hand twitched and summon a Rasengan. He didn't use any variations. The Rhino was easily subdued. But the dragonfly easily avoided. "I really don't want to fight. We have something in common with one another." Pein made no effort to respond. The dragonfly lurched it's legs and tried to grab Naruto.

Naruto managed to dodge but the wind pressure was immense. He was thrown hard into the ground. He felt something rumble towards him. He jumped into the air and twisted his body out of the way of an onslaught of different weapons.

Naruto felt a twitch in his leg. He could feel himself getting restless to fight. It was a sort of reflex due to the war. Because talking with the enemy had been something that Naruto had long abandoned, and now... He was doing it again.

"We both had Jiraiya as sensei's." Peins hand twitched. "How do you know things you shouldn't?" Pein said with no visible expression. Naruto remained quiet. Naruto didn't think it was the best idea to tell Nagato now of all times that he was from the future.

Naruto knew that there was people under the rubble. That's why he sent several Shadow clones to dig them out. He saw a rod sticking out of the rubble. It was one of the rods Pein could summon.

Naruto dug through the rubble and threw any rocks out of the way. He was greeted with white hair. Naruto felt his heartbeat quicken. He dug up the rest of the rubble. "Kakashi? Are you okay?" Naruto said. He pulled the rods out of his old sensies body. He was met with a groan. Naruto sighed in relief.

"Naruto?" A raspy tired voice asked. "I clearly left at the wrong time. Sorry." Kakashi shook his head, but winced at the action. "Don't worry about it Naruto." Naruto slowly nodded. They did not have Tsunade here, that was a huge downfall. Naruto moved his hand to Kakashi's arm. Kakashi gasped lightly as he felt a chakra surge throughout his body. There was a slight bubbling around him.

Kakashi looked up at Naruto. "You need to focus on helping dig anybody up. I can only give you so much and so can you. The chakra I have you should allow you to give to three others." Kakashi nodded.

"Don't push yourself." Kakashi said as he stood up. He knew that because of the chakra surrounding him, he didn't feel any pain. A sort of adrenaline rush. Naruto smiled.

Kakashi watched as he saw Naruto's figure go into the distance. He knew he couldn't think about this anymore. He saw the Hokage before he was encased by rubble. He needed to get to the Hokage.

Kakashi rushed and looked frantically around. He was going to try and give the Hokage a majority of the chakra. He found a half a building. He went inside. He heard a weak rasp below him and Kakashi felt his eyes widen. This had to be where the Hokage was.

Kakashi got onto the ground and started to move the rubble. He noticed immediately how the rocks felt like nothing. What was the chakra that Naruto had given him?

Kakashi saw a clothing piece of the Hokage's and started rummaging through the rubble. Finally after what seemed like hours he had found the Hokage's head. The Hokage looked up at Kakashi with a tired expression.

Kakashi ignored the look of the Hokage and continued to uncover the Hokage.

"Kakashi what is that around you?" The Hokage finally muttered out. His legs and arm was now uncovered. Kakashi had wide eyes as he realized the Hokage had no other arm. The Hokage slowly sat up.

The Hokage repeated his question. "What is that around you, Kakashi?" Kakashi looked at Hiruzen. "Naruto gave it to me. The future one." The Hokage muttered something under his breath. Before the Hokage had time to react Kakashi's hand was reaching out to the Hokage.

Hiruzen felt a surge where Kakashi's hand was. Immediately he knew what was encircling now himself and Kakashi. Though, his felt thicker than what Kakashi's seemed to be. This was the Kyuubi's chakra. He couldn't ever forget it.

He looked to his side. Any bleeding that was happening had apparently stopped. Though the Kyuubi's chakra was no miracle, his arm was still missing.

"Where is Naruto now Kakashi?" Kakashi smiled slightly at the now awake Hokage. "He should be around uncovering more Shinobi and villagers. Though I saw another at the center. Fighting 4 orange haired people." Hiruzen's eyes widened. He alone couldn't even take one now Naruto was taking on four? The Hokage stood up quickly. Come on Kakashi we need to be quick.
