Itachi didn't reply and Naruto didn't mind the lack of response, although Itachi was expressionless but Naruto knew that he had listened to what he(Naruto) had to say, so after finishing their  meal the two of them left the ramen shop and headed towards the apartment.....

"I'm home~" Naruto called out happily as he entered his apartment, ofcourse he didn't get any "welcome home" in reply but he was already used to this and frankly he had long stopped caring,"Pardon my intrusion" Itachi muttered lightly as he entered the apartment that could be considered somewhat clean....ahem cleaner than what he had expected. "Make yourself at home, you will be staying here for the time being dattebayo." Naruto said to Itachi who nodded as a reply, Naruto then turned as he gestured Itachi to follow and said "I'll show you the room where you will staying".....

Sasuke sat on a chair looking through a scroll, the air reeked of a metallic/ rust like smell of blood making the other three feel slightly uncomfortable but it was not much, they were used to this scene by now.....for the past whole week that they had followed sasuke, this scene was really common, it'd would be unusual if the scene was not 'messy'. After that day when they were assigned the task, they did their very best to complete the assigned task and quickly reported what they had found. Sasuke sorted through the collected information and proceeded to move to the areas with high possibilities of finding those and raided those places, while he was at it he started to try and experiment on himself too, he tried to volunterily let the toxin take over his senses and tried to keep himself under control....result he was able to look normal but he still couldn't control his own body that continued to slaughter, he was able to stay concious but still couldn't control his own body, it was as if he was watching his own body from a third person perspective, he was uncomfortable at first but the second time this happened he was able to somewhat observe and experiment, in the past week, the three ninjas witnessing this whole thing happening was kind of traumatic but after this happened the fourth time they became numb to all this, in the time span to a week by observing his own situation and jūgo sasuke had a vague idea to how to control the effects of toxin's flare ups. Sasuke tried to improve his control over his own chakra and it was still a work in progress but his situation was better than before atleast his berserk outburst time duration has shortened significantly only lasting for 30 minutes instead of a few hours and frequency of these flare ups had also decreased.
Looking at the still visible violet markings around sasuke's eyes, right cheek all the way down his neck and covering his chest, karin shuddered, those violet marking on sasuke's pale skin was especially eye-catching, the few specks of blood here and there, the bodies hapahazardly  lying around on the floor the slender pale fingers holding the scroll, calm and indifferent obsidian eyes scaning the information, he looked so beautiful and at the same time dangerous to extreme, like some kind of demon, tempting but dangerous, the thick bloody smell in the air only made him more horrifying and dangerous, karin hurriedly turned away her eyes and fiddled with a kunai in her hand. "But at least tell us what are you even looking for..." Suigetsu muttered in a low voice but the place was so quiet that every living being there heard him clearly, suigetsu paused and looked at sasuke who slowly raised his face up to look at them, as he faced them his eyes also started to change and his mangekeyo sharingan was activated, his voice was still somewhat hoarse and stiff as he said "these eyes", at first the trio looked confused but then connected the dots and had the understanding or somewhat of a guess on what was going on....

After knowing what they were looking for the three of them were finally able to find the location of the base where they could possibly find the sharingan eyes sasuke was looking for.... surprisingly this base was near the konoha village. As sasuke entered the village he found it somewhat funny, how what he'd been looking for was so close to the village....but there was still the possibility that it was not there.... Sasuke just went ahead and forcefully entered the lab, now that he pretty much knew how to control and use this toxin in his favour sasuke chose to refrain from using sharingan or rinnegan....in the last base That he 'searched' through he found a scroll that described something that was 'sage jutsu' although he was not sure about this he still experimented and found he could control the toxin much easily and was in complete control of his body when the toxin flared and he was able to avoid going berserk, now that he entered the 'sage mode' those markings also appeard exactly the same as when the toxin had taken over him but he could barely maintain the sage mode for upto 10 minutes at most, it was rather frustrating for him but atleast he was able to do this much.....

Sasuke stared at the two  pairs of eyes with activated sharingan, still glowing red, the six tomoes visible, they seemed to belong to young uchihas, he closed his eyes as he gritted his teeth, silently restraining the rage and resentment he felt when he saw the eyes so carefully preserved, as if some kind of treasure ....just what were they planning to do with them, he inspected both pair, evaluating the feasibility of transplanting them to his aniki's eyes so as to decrease the strain and finally chose the one belonging to the younger of the two pair....as he stored that pair of eyes carefully he found something else....it was the cell sample of the hashirama senju the first hokage of the konoha village, carefully preserved along with the scrolls with recorded results of different experiments performed on them, he paused and carefully read through them before  taking them with him
