Sasuke gritted his teeth as he dodged and evaded Deidara's continuous attacks, he(Deidara) was now starting to get on his (sasuke) nerves with all his clay attacks, sasuke grunted as he dodged another attack from the two akatsuki members, a  faint glint flitted through his obsidian eyes and they changed as he activated his sharingan " Magen: Mugen ni chōkyō" he said lightly, he could feel the increasing strain on his eyes and chakra, he alertly glanced at the three akatsuki members trapped in his genjutsu, he knew he had a very little time to find Itachi and then get the hell out of this village safely, just as he looked around to decide a direction to search for itachi, he noticed that Itachi was standing near  then, staring at him for who knows how long, sasuke paused, surprised for a second before regaining his senses as he quickly acted and used chakra to mobilize the toxin that was still in Itachi, making him unable to move,he quickly caught Itachi before he could fall, knowing how tight the time was he whispered "Bear with it for a while aniki....", after that he immediately made a hand seal and just like that disappeared into the thin air.

Itachi watched as sasuke trapped Deidara, kisame and Hidan into genjutsu, he was surprised but also proud to see how strong sasuke has become, there was also a dull feeling of pain as he thought how be has to proceed to the next step of his plan, so he could make sasuke the guardian and hero of the konoha village, but it was still early, as Itachi calculated his next step he suddenly felt a numb feeling spreading through his whole body, he almost cursed out as he realised he could not control his own body, he scolded himself for not paying attention and being ignorant as he heard sasuke whispering to him and realised what was wrong with his body, it was all because of that bite ' it's all because of that bite...but what did he do exactly....' he silently contemplated as he was carried by sasuke. He observed the way sasuke so cautiously left the hidden rain village, making sure to hide his tracks not leaving any trace behind him. Itachi also observed his surroundings and noticed that sasuke was taking him in the direction of the border of fire nation. Itachi slowly worked on the ' foreign '  chakra in his body that be had detected before all this commotion happened, he worked on it slowly, so as not to alert sasuke as he wanted to know what exactly was going on with his little brother.

Sasuke felt tired, he just wanted to stop and drop dead, he was aware of his chakra consumption that  was again exceeding what he had, but he couldn't, not till he deems the surroundings safe, he finally got his aniki back from them, he can't afford to be careless and let them take away his aniki from him when he's in such a poor and helpless condition.

As soon as sasuke crossed the border and entered the forests in fire nation farther from the birder, he remembered, there should be a temple somewhere deep in the forest.

After walking deeper in the forest sasuke finally found the temple he was looking for, it was an abandoned temple that he had once chanced upon in his last life, at that time he had stopped here to be alone and get away from orochimaru and kabuto, he was able to find some peace and quiet in  this abandoned temple, this was the reason he remembered this temple, now that be wanted to find a safe place to hide for a while, to stop and replenish his chakra and return to the hidden leaf village, so that a certain blonde could have some peace of mind too, he almost chuckled lightly as he could practically imagine how the blonde must be going mad with anxiety at the moment now that he had exceeded the estimated time of his return that he had estimated. He gently placed Itachi on the floor of the temple as soon as he entered the temple and again made sure that he was not followed and there  was no one in the vicinity, after he was sure of the safety of his surroundings, he finally relaxed as he sat beside his aniki, checking on him and making sure that he was not uncomfortable in any way, sasuke was so exhausted that he didn't even feel something wrong with the changes in the toxin he had left in Itachi he just closed his eyes to rest and slowly replenished his chakra....

Itachi stared at sasuke who had passed out right beside him due to overdrawing his chakra and was now subconsciously snuggling up to him, he couldn't believe that sasuke was being so careless, hiw could be be this carefree around his captive, what if he was attacked or his captive ran away or worse killed him as he was passed out, he kept his eyes on sasuke as he mumbled "idiot little brother" and sighed softly, he had regained some sensation back in his limbs and he could somewhat control his body, he shook his head gently as he thought ' what am I even thinking....' he still couldn't help but find it a little funny, how his little brother was subconsciously looking for his presence and comfort, he found it cute how sasuke still subconsciously found comfort in him, how he (Sasuke)  still let his guards down in his (Itachi) presence, it had been a few years since then....since that incident....since he left the village. He sighed again, he felt complicated , he wanted sasuke to hate him, he wanted sasuke to be the one to kill him....no one else but him (Sasuke)....if he was going to die, he wanted to die at his (Sasuke's) hands, it was his plan, it was his will.... he had willingly choosen this and so far everything was going how he had planned....but now somehow things has changed
....now his little brother seemed to somehow love and respect him just like before, as if they returned to the time before that incident happened ...no there was more to it....his love and worship seemed more intense  than how it was when they were younger.... couldn't put it into words but he had this feeling ....he has somehow started to waver....this dependence, and how easily sasuke let his  guards down in his presence....
