"What are you doing here teme?" Naruto blurted out as he got over his initial surprise and recived a blank look from the ninja in question. Just as he thought he would not be getting any response from the other he heard his faint mumble as if he(sasuke) was whispering to himself "usuratonkachi", it sounded a little awkward which made Naruto to pause fora minute afterall it had been a long time since he had been called that by the uchiha who he had always called his best friend....so many past memories flashed by in Naruto's mind, he felt a soft warm feeling in his chest as he reminiced the time the two of them had spent together competeing and calling each other names, he still felt that all this is like a dream.... for some reason he felt as if this was just some dream a kind of genjutsu, Naruto had never felt this insecure about anything, this anxiety made him a little uncomfortable. Naruto shook his head as if by doing so he could get rid of these thoughts....
Seeing the blonde ninja spacing out like this sai repeated the earlier question asked by the blonde "So what are you doing here anyway?" A fake smile still plastered on his face. His question successfully got their attention but just as sasuke wanted to tell them and reassure the blonde that he'd be back soon, his expressions suddenly darkened, turning terrifyingly ugly. Reading sasuke's darkening expression bothe konoha ninjas were curious just as Naruto was going to ask what was wrong they heard the uchiha growling out a cusse word before warning them " stay hidden or you'll be a hinderance ...." as he suddenly disappeared, leaving a furious Naruto and a blank faced sai behind....

Sasuke was about to tell sai and Naruto that it'd take him a little more than expected and wanted to ask Naruto to clean his appartment as they may have to stay at his(Naruto) appartment before they could shift to the uchiha compound, but just as he   opened his mouth he felt a presence that he had been hoping to avoid taking in consideration how he was still under the combined effects of that venom, orochimaru's cursed seal and the chakra he had overdrawn, he was still recovering and wanted to avoid fighting for the moment, at this moment he thought of karin, the red head ninja who was annoying most of the time but she was still a very useful piece. Sasuke growled out a ' damn it' before throwing ot a warning at the two konoha ninjas and disappeared not caring about the angry blonde ninja....
As soon as sasuke arrived at the proximity of the temple he saw Deidara standing right at the entrance of the temple. Seeing this sasuke felt his anger boiling again, ' do they think this one can defeat me and steal my aniki from me....' he thought as he made a hand seal and said "Katon: Gōkakyū no Jutsu" he aimed the jutsu at deidara who dodged the attack as he sensed his presence, he quickly used his clay to make a giant bird and fly in the sky and eyed the uchiha who had just attacked him letting out an annnoyed 'Un'. He attempted to attack from above using a bomb, but Sasuke used Hidden Shadow Snake Hands to wrap himself with a snake as a shield. Tobi who was hiding his presence and watching decided that it was the time to show his presence so he also attempted an attack saying "Wait for me sanpai", but he was scared of Sasuke, and fled from him. Deidara told Tobi "I can handle Sasuke on my own!", and tested him with C1 grade fleas. Sasuke used the Chidori Senbon to stop the bombs. He then jumped behind Deidara, who used a bomb to distance himself. But Sasuke managed to avoid the bomb. Realising Sasuke's abilities were great, Deidara used C2 next, and summoned a clay dragon as a battle partner, but just as he was about to continue fighting he noticed how sasuke's left side of shoulder was rapidly changing, he used the scope on his left eye and the curse mark not paying it anymore attention he continued on with his attack....

Itachi who had been contemplating on all that had been happening around him lately and the changes in sasuke and the way he had been in front of him, felt a different chakra signature outside of the temple, he knew it was Deidara, his expression changed as he slowly got up and thought about what choice he should make at the moment should he go with sasuke who seemed to need him as if his life depended on it or should he go back to akatsuki to continue on with his plans , it was not that rhe konoha village will accept him a s class formidable ninja who killed his own clan and deflected to join a well  known dangerous criminal organization....just as he was again trapped in his turmoil he felt another presence....it was sasuke.... Itachi walked near the temple entrance and what he saw was a view of a fight between sasuke and Deidara. He was fully aware of sasuke's conditions, he couldn't help but think of how sasuke was unconscious for 3 days straight, how pale and worn he looked, how he clung to him even when he was unconscious....when itachi gathered his thoughts again Deidara had initiated another round of attacks, he saw how the cursed seal was trying to  gain control over sasuke, he couldn't help but worry more and more, in the end he gritted his teeth and for the first time decided to be selfish and choose his brother over everything else, he quickly disappeared and reappeared behind Deidara....

As sasuke was dodging another clay attack from Deidara, he saw Itachi suddenly appearing behind Deidara, he stopped as he stared at Itachi who stood behind Deidara.....'so....in the end.....you still won't stay with me....is that what you choose....aniki?' he thought as he stopped resisting the seal and let it take over him ....afterall he needed to borrow this seals power in order to first finish off this annoying blonde and then deal with konoha....
