"I...." He didn't know what to say, his dull obsidian eyes were showing a hint of surprise, shock, confusion and disbelief....'how?..' he thought as he blinked making sure he was not hallucinating....' just a second ago ... I was with him...' he continued his thoughts as his grip on his katana's hilt tightened....he took in the scene, one of his arm was loosely placed on a certain blonde's shoulder, his other hand close to his katana, now gripping it's hilt, body leaning slightly forward, his face close to the blonde's looking ahead, at the familiar pink haired girl with green eyes, her eyes showed worry and her body language showed how nervous and tense she was ....and there was also that replacement ...all this was too familiar...' am I dreaming?' he questioned himself not paying any attention to whatever that replacement was saying, he was too occupied to figure out what was going on....one second he was with tobi who just gave him his rinnegan...then next he found himself in this place....at this moment in the past ...when...when everything could be mended ....when the damages could still be repaired....when his...his aniki was still alive ...his nii-san...was this some kind of genjutsu.... Was it some kind of illusion, sasuke's eyes widened as he activated his sharingan and tried to undo the genjutsu...once...twice...' this...' he was bewildered....this was....was this a reality...was this a chance...to start anew? He questioned himself...." Nii-san...." Sasuke mumbled, he was brought out of his brooding trance when he heard a dumbfounded "huh?" near his ear, it was then he realised how close his face was to the blonde's. Sasuke backed a bit from Naruto and glanced at him, then his gaze landed on sakura who was near him and then at his replacement... Sai. Sai who had all his focus on sasuke as he cautiously looked at the scene unfolding in front of him, was glanced at by the uchiha whose sharingan was activated, this sudden glance made him go on alert ready to take action as soon as he (sasuke) showed any sign of movement, seeing him like this, sasuke raised an eyebrow and in the next second he was in front of sai " don't be nervous" he said, his voice cold and uninterested as always. His sudden movement caused Naruto and sakura to be surprised and his words made them even more speechless, even sai's expression showed surprise when he heard his(sasuke) words " you are not worth it" then he flickered past him, not giving any of them any chance to react....at this moment there was only one thing going through his mind ' aniki.... I have to meet him... but first...' sasuke shunshied in front of kabuto who at this moment fending against yamato, the temporary leader of team 7, his actions took kabuto by surprise as he saw sasuke unsheathing his katana and as soon as it came out of it's sheath, it was covered in lightening, and a sharp buzzing accompanied the sparks, it happened in a matter of seconds, he was injured just like that, luckily the damage was minor as kabuto was able to barely dodge it, but he still had to bear the damage as his whole arm got numb due to the lightening that covered the swords blade, he knew this move .... " What are you doing ?" He heard Naruto yell with a stupid look and equally silly voice , he decided to ignore him as he saw orochimaru coming out of his hiding " my my sasuke kun.... What do you think you are doing" he said. A hatred suddenly lit up sasuke's dull obsidian eyes, he started attacking orochimaru and kabuto, he got to do some serious damage to kabuto but orochimaru was able to dodge his attacks easily, this was getting on his nerves .... A flicker of hatred turned into huge fire of madness as he (orochimaru) continued to dodge his (sasuke) attacks, he could not hear a single word they were saying, he could see orochimaru's lips move but he couldn't hear a single word, he could only hear a voice echoing in his head saying' kill him', that was all that he could hear....only words he could understand, sasuke felt a sensation in his eyes ...he was too familiar with these changes in his eyes...this painful, burning and tingling sensation.... Everyone present at the scene was surprised when they saw sasuke's eyes, left pupil was purple, with black concentric rings with six tomoe's and mangekeyo sharingan in the Right _______________________

Sasuke really was on the verge of going berserk but there was still a string of rationality that stopped him, his face was still stoic as ever, the momentary madness that had flickered to life in his eyes was suppressed again and along with that his rinnegan and sharingan was also suppressed, he stopped, his attacks momentarily but that small moment was enough for orochimaru and kabuto to escape, seeing them as they vanished in a puff of smoke. Sasuke collapsed to his knees ...his breathing heavy and his body in pain ....his body needed time to adjust to his eyes...he felt the movement around him ....sure enough he was surrounded by team 7, he chuckled...this pain, it was a proof that all this was not some genjutsu...it was real...this was real ______________________
Hearing his chuckle, sakura, Naruto, sai and yamato were not sure what was going on with him...just now ... everything that happened...all of it was out of their expectations.... They kind of were at a loss not knowing what was going on "....sasuke?" It was Naruto who spoke first ...he wanted to check on him to see what was wrong but as soon as he moved closer, he heard sasuke growl out " don't..." after that maybe there was something wrong with him...or was it because of how his eyes changed.... whatever the reason was sasuke passed out
