#31 part 2

Looking at Itachi's pale face, that looked peaceful as he laid unconscious in hospital bed, sasuke didn't know what he should do now, should he still leave as he decided earlier or should he stay beside his aniki....Tsunade had just left the ward a few  moments ago telling him  that the reason that Itachi collapsed so suddenly was due to sudden increase in stress, sasuke suspected that it may have been because of the information that he had received earlier, about how orochimaru 'experimented' on him, he felt a feeling of guilt creeping up slowly in his guts but he pushed it down and closed his eyes for a moment to calm himself down, this was not the time to feel guilty and all, right now he should go away and gain better control over himself and the 'sage mode' as mentioned in that scroll, if the information is correct then it means with his continuous experimentation and trial and error method he should be able to surpass his current weqk self qnd reach stage of perfection... and what does that means?.... it means he'd be able to guarantee his aniki's safety and well being in the future, afterall he had never thought about changing any of the events that would happen  in the near future including the fourth great ninja war, the only thing would be the course of events would change slightly, his aniki and him....they would be that man's pawns anymore....that 'tobi' he's no 'uchiha madara' he's sure of this conjecture after carefully reanalysing his 'past life' events, it's a surviving uchiha....but not madara  as an uchiha he can somehow tell, call it his instincts but he knows that this person is beneath him (madara), sasuke pulled himself out of his thoughts as he felt a presence outside the ward room, he glance over with a sharp gaze as soon as the the person pushed the door open and entered.....

Karin felt her scalp go numb as soon as she entered the ward and sasuke looked over, his dark onyx eyes were so sharp and cold with a hint of hostility, she breathed a sigh of relief when sasuke realised it was her and his gaze turned normal, although still cold but it was not hostile anymore, just now the three of them had competed and she ended up losing so the heavy responsibility of asking sasuke how to proceed fell on her, she cursed her luck and didn't know wether it was good or bad that she lost, if it were the past she would have been delighted enough to jump to the moon but the sasuke in the past and the sasuke now were so different that she waas at a loss on how to approach....the sasuke in past was cold and sure saw her as a useful piece but the sasuke now even though essentially the same was more dangerous, violent and terrifying, with the past sasuke she could act however she wished but now she felt like she was walking on thin ice, the biggest difference was in the sasuke she knew in the past he was indifferent sure but not as indifferent as he was now, it was like he was so indifferent to life as if he doesn't care even if he dies the next second, his indifference towards his own life was scary, he even seemed eager to die sometimes, in the past month the three of them not only seen sasuke becoming a demon hut they had also witnessed how he'd wale up from nightmare and then take out a kunai too harm himself sometimes shallow sometimes deeper, if it weren't for her careful healing and care then sasuke would have already killed himself several times over after end of each episode, it was really difficult to get sasuke to snap out of whatever it was that triggered his self harming tendencies, she sighed as she shook her head lightly getting rid of the terrifying images out of her mind and procceded to cautiously ask for the instructions and follow ups after reporting the current situation, basically there was not much damaged caused this time, no one was  harmed just some minor injuries to the involved people, no big commotion was caused, sasuke nodded and said said "I'll leave for a secluded training for a while, during this period aniki would undergo the treatment, you three are to always be by his side as he's been forbidden to use chakra for the time being, you three protect him, you will learn with Sakura medical ninjutsu and take care of aniki's health, suigetsu is responsible for his saftey and to assist him as he requires, all his requests are your priorities and juugo will be coming with me, understood?" Karin wanted to say something but in the end just nodded and replied "understood!", then knowing that her presence was not required anymore she quietly exited the ward and saw juugo and suigetsu talking to the konoha ninjas who she remembered as sasuke's friends and one os his teacher, sensing someone coming they looked in her direction, she nodded to them in greeting and after some hesitation she told them instructions from sasuke
