"I'm home~" the blonde ninja called out as he entered his apartment and started taking off his shoes "Welcome back" he heard a faint reply, he had gotten kind of used to it, he was surprised at first but ever since Itachi started living in his apartment he(Itachi) had been welcoming him(Naruto) home, he felt awkward at first but then let it be....it was not a bad feeling afterall....the feeling of someone waiting for him and welcoming him home when came back from a tiring day of training  or running some errands for the hokage. Naruto entered the kitchen and sat on the dining table as he said "Itachi nii san, I'll not be coming back home often starting tomorrow, Kakashi sensei and yamato sensei are going to train me~", he sounded excited and happy, seeing him like this Itachi nodded with a soft smile as he placed a bowl of noodles on the table "okay" he said slowly as he sat down on one of the chairs and prayed before he started to eat, Naruto was used to Itachi's calm replies and cool tone in the past days that he had spent with the older uchiha, he proceeded to tell him about the exciting or funny event that happened today as they ate, Itachi responded intermittently, it was a nice and peaceful dinner, when suddenly Naruto stopped chattering and looked towards the living room, soon Itachi also looked up from his bowl towards the living room, where the sofa's were, in a blink of an eye there was a person standing in the previously empty living room, the silver haired ninja with a book in his hand "yo" greeted as usual, "kakashi sensei" the blonde greeted enthusiastically and Itachi nodded his head in greeting to the silver haired ninja.
"The hokage has asked me to inform you that she has summoned you...." he informed the two, the blonde nodded and the two left the raven haired ninja after saying their goodbye. Itachi stared at the door for a few minutes before going back to the dining table sitting opposite to the now empty chair and slowly finished his dinner before taking care of the used dishes and cleaning up the kitchen....the quiet and calm atmosphere was as if no one really lived in the apartment....

As soon as Naruto entered the hokage's office he saw the familiar raven haired ninja who he hadn't seen for almost a month now, his eyes shined as he greeted his friend as enthusiastically as ever  almost pouncing at him in excitement "sasuke!long time no see" he exclaimed, seeing the blondes usual enthusiasm  the raven haired ninja was at first cold but then his eyes softened just a bit as he replied "hmmm.... it's been a while"
"ahem" the blonde heard the lady hokage's voice and only then he noticed the others present in the office, there was sakura, a red haired girl, a blue haired boy with sharp teeth and a huge sword  along with a  tall muscular guy other than those three yamato and shikamaru was also there, he quickly greeted everyone. Sasuke introduced the three and asked the hokage if they were allowed to join the leaf village, lady Tsunade had a very serious expression as she expressed "it's not like I can just do whatever you want me to, you do realise how problematic their background is and they have been under orochimaru, you tell me why should I give them a green pass to live in this village. Give me one good goddamn reason to agree to them livin' in my village", she almost broke the table as she slammed down her fist on her working desk  but there were cracks which alerted sakura as she thought 'no not another one(T_T)', "Tsunade obacha--"Naruto tried to say but sasuke interrupted "they are my subordinates, there's nothing wrong in them living here they will live in uchiha compound anyways and if you are worried about them being a threat then" he paused and glanced at the three for a moment before looking back at Tsunade in the eyes, his aura changing suddenly as he continued "if they even think about any such thing then I'll be the first one to 'deal' with them as I have promised to keep this village safe" , the sudden change in his aura sent shivers down the spines of the three who had witnessed how sasuke 'deals' with someone in the past month, although they were a little dissatisfied with this decision but as they had already agreed to sasuke's plans before entering the village, they will work along side sasuke and they had consented to this, they were warned already about this so even if they had a complaint right now they knew not to say, as it would not change a thing, it was better than being gunniepig of someone to be experimented on....
After a very long discussion (argument) and negotiation (threats), it was decided that three of them would be under constant observation by wome anbu guards till they are proven to be harmless to the village. After sasuke submitted some things and intel that he had brought and writing and submitting a detailed report about his journey along with the sharingan and telling her to transplant these to Itachi, Sasuke was some what eager to see his aniki again, he was about to go out and meet up with Naruto who was waiting for him outside the office along with sakura, when he was stopped by Tsunade who was still a little stunned after seeing the pair of sharingan eyes, she asked in a very serious and surprised tone"where did you get those?" Sasuke paused before answering "it's clearly written in the report" as he went out of the office without looking back and politely closing the door behind him. He was a little eager to go back and see his aniki....no it was not just eagerness, it was a feeling of anxiety and paranoia of not seeing his aniki there once he goes back....that his aniki has died on him once again.....that his aniki has left him alone...once again....
