"where'd they go all of a sudden?" The two uchihas heard a familiar voice grumble, it was kisame.....he seemed to be looking for them and was nearby, it was too late to conceal their presence and there was no point in doing so too....at least that's what Itachi thought but for sasuke, his dazed expressions changed, his emotions and expressions locked away in an instant as soon as he heard this voice. He felt a sudden urge to try some shark meat but then he felt overly disgusted by this thought, to the point that he felt like throwing up. Itachi who had also returned to his usual calm and cool manner and appearance was aware of all the changes that appeared in sasuke as soon as he heard kisame, he could practically see the word 'extremely disgusted' written on sasuke's face as soon as he heard kisame's voice,'what....just happened? Little foolish brother... your expressions...are you really that disgusted that kisame's here....but why? Is it because he interrupted...' Itachi felt his ears getting a little hot as they flushed an inconspicuous pink but he also found this funny, he was not sure how to react to this whole situation, his brother's disgust and irritation was so obvious, even if he consealed all his expression and emotion, Itachi could still see through him clearly, and this was his reaction to only kisame's voice, kisame wasn't even here yet, he couldn't understand just what was going on with his little brother ' is... this because of me?' his ears flushed red again as he thought to himself, he tried to make sense of things that were happening...why was sasuke acting like this? Why would he hurt himself was this because of orochimaru? What has he done to sasuke to make him like this? Then what about his plan...things can't go on like this.... Sasuke behaving like this....there was no hatred ....only love, respect, dependence....and regret?....just what was going on? Was there some kind of mistake? Itachi felt more and more confusion and a headache.
Back with sasuke, as soon as kisame entered near the area he was in, he immediately threw a kunai at him(kisame). Kisame was a little surprised but managed to dodge the sudden attack, he had sensed their chakra already but he was still taken by surprise when that kunai wooshed past his head it was obviously aimed at the centre of his head, luckily he tilted his head to the right and avoided the incoming threat. Kisame raised an eyebrow as he shot sasuke an amused look and showed off his sharp teeth as he flashed him a grin " you are so violent.....so unlike your brother..." he said his voice sounding a little excited, it has been few years since the last time he had seen the little uchiha, he could tell that sasuke has improved and was way better than what he used to be....he was getting bored anyways, it'd be fun to mess around a little bit, Itachi won't mind anyways....
That was what he thought but as soon as he stepped ahead to provoke the little uchiha Itachi stopped him " we should not waste our time, we are still on a mission" he reminded kisame with no apparent emotions in his voice or his face, kisame wanted to say something but looking at itachi's expression it was obvious he won't agree so he gave up.
Seeing Itachi ready to leave sasuke suddenly panicked and couldn't help but feel anxious again so he pushed and forced himself to follow them, he couldn't care less about hiding his presence or using a more suitable tailing method, it was useless anyways so he balantly followed them and managed to keep up with them even though barely but he made sure to keep his eyes on Itachi never straying from him and totally ignoring kisame who now seemed really ticked off to be ignored so balantly, it really got on his nerves how this little uchiha ignored his provocations. " You better stop now sasuke." Itachi finally stopped at the entrance of a small village near the borders of fire nation, it was the village of sound

'why are they going to this place..' sasuke thought as he also stopped with them. Looking at sasuke staring at him like this, he was obviously tired, he was obviously overdrawing his chakra ,he was obviously so hurt and had taken so much damage but he was still stubbornly chasing after them, Itachi really wanted to knock him out and leave him here but he also felt reluctant to do so when he remembered how sasuke almost killed himself because of some dream or nightmare whatever it was....he really didn't know how to proceed from here. While he was contemplating how to get rid of sasuke, kisame finally couldn't take it anymore, this brat was ignoring his presence and it was getting on his nerves now, his hands were itching for beating him up. He finally decided to take actions and so he did, he used water style jutsu and soon mist appeared, he wanted to take this chance to stop his urge for a fight and dump this little brat here but he never imagined that he'd finally manage to get the little uchiha's attention this time, as he was about to get out of here with Itachi he heard sasuke's voice " Katon: Gōkakyū no Jutsu"
after that he felt heat and a huge ball of fire was sent accurately in his direction, as he dodged the fire ball he saw how sasuke stood in between him and Itachi looking at him as if he wanted to grill him alive.
At this moment sasuke really wanted nothing more than to grill this fish alive so that he won't be able to take his aniki away from him...he has to take Itachi back with him, he has to right every wrong, he has to cure his brother's disease and mend his relationship with his aniki....and if he still couldn't save his aniki....he was going to die with his aniki and he has just the right thing for that in his hands. Sasuke could feel his body couldn't keep up now and he needed to recover his chakra so he wanted to avoid any kind of fight but when he saw the mist suddenly appearing he couldn't help it...just as he was glaring at kisame in warning while ensuring to press down his urge to vomit blood, he felt that he suddenly couldn't force the blood down anymore, he was panicking...if he lost his conciousness now he'd loose his aniki when he remembered something, he turned to Itachi, his hand covered in scales as the curse mark he was supressing started acting up, sasuke took itachi by surprise as he leaned forward and then he bit him on his collar bone (A/n: welp blame his height he couldn't reach his aniki's neck without getting on his tippy toes but this situation is urgent!😁), then backed off again supressing his curse mark with whatever was left of his chakra. Itachi and kisame were surprised by this sudden movement and couldn't respond for a moment as soon as they wanted to respond and attack they saw sasuke supressing his curse again and standing at quite some distance, Itachi wanted to attack when he saw small streaks of blood trickling down sasuke's pale lips as he continued to smirk, he couldn't understand what he ment to do by biting him...but before he could continue his thinking he saw sasuke fainting....
