Chapter 31

As we waited something didn't feel right but then they started to walk into our view Jack began to push down on the button to have the ambush devices go off but got nothing I said "Hurry up Jack they are getting out of range". Jack said "Not my fault the fucking thing won't go off," I said "Should have checked them to make sure they were hooked up right" I threw one of my knives at the ground. Masky and Eyeless Jack stepped back as I jumped out to lunge at them Jack followed behind pissed that his plan didn't work I managed to get Masky and Eyeless Jack alone so Jack could "handle" the others. I focused on blocking out Zalgo and letting Slender in I could see the look on Eyeless Jack and Masky's faces they didn't want to hurt me but they had no choice I said "Make it look like you stabbed me". Masky said "Are you insane there's no way we are doing that" I looked over at Eyeless Jack, he stood there for a moment, and then he walked over to me with his scalpel in his hand. I said "There is no time I can only hold him back for so long-" I felt a sharp pain in my side Eyeless Jack removed his hand from my side as blood spilled onto the ground my vision started to become blurry. I wasn't sure how much time had passed but when I woke up the bed felt soft I sat up in bed feeling the sharp pain in my side as I looked down at my side I noticed that it was wrapped in bandages. I looked around the room and noticed that I was back in my room at the mansion, a light knock was placed on my door I told them to come in as the door opened Masky walked in with some food and a drink on a tray. Masky placed the tray on the nightstand next to the bed Masky said "Glad to see you awake, it was hell getting you back here," I said "Did it work" Masky nodded his head Masky said "And Slender knows about everything". My eyes widened worried that Slender is pissed off that I betrayed him Masky said "he doesn't blame you for it Zalgo threatened you and Slender knew that you weren't acting yourself" I said, "I still hurt you though, I tried to kill Ben". I looked down at the blankets on my bed tears falling Masky said, "Ben is doing just fine he's been worried about you a lot ever since we brought you back to the mansion. He wouldn't leave your side while you were still recovering all of us were worried about you" I whipped away the tears falling from my cheeks I said "Ben stayed with me the entire time I was recovering" Masky nodded. I looked up at Masky and I said "What about Luke and-" Masky said "They are doing fine Hoodie is out fetching them right now Slender had them put in a place where only a few of us know". Relief came over me knowing that they were still alive and well Masky got up and walked over to the door Masky said "You should eat it will help get some of your strength back" as Masky left the room I grabbed the tray and started eating the food that was placed on it. 

As time went on Eyeless Jack came into the room to change the bandages around your waist so I could try to get some sleep but it was going to be a bit difficult soon I was comfortable enough to sleep which made it a bit more easier for me to sleep or pass out in bed. After a while, the wound on my side was all healed up and I was able to move around Rose ran up to me and gave me a hug Rose said "I missed you Mommy" I said "I missed you too" Luke walked over. Placing a kiss on my lips I said "I take you you missed me too" Luke said "Of course we did" Hunter started screaming at his father indicating that he wanted some attention. I said "You want some love too little man" Hunter kicked his feet while smiling as I walked closer picking him up off the ground and placing a kiss on his cheek. Luke and I played with the kids until they were tired as Luke put them to bed I sat on the living room floor taking it all in I was finally back home at the mansion it almost didn't feel real but it was. The warmth from the fireplace touched my skin as well as heard distant chatter from the others I felt a gentle touch on my shoulder that caused me to jump a bit Luke said "Sorry I didn't mean to startle you like that". I said, "No it's fine I know you would do nothing to hurt me it's just..." Luke said, "You've been through a lot your body is still on edge from what they put you through". Luke sat down next to me and pulled me onto his lap placing a kiss on my cheek I said "The kids passed out" Luke said "What do you think" I smiled as I leaned into Luke looking at the fireplace. Luke said "Still scared to talk to him," I said "Yeah," Luke said "Slender doesn't blame you, he knows you weren't acting yourself and that you would never kill us," I said, "I just don't know what to say to him". Luke said "You don't need all the answers just tell Slender how you feel" I nodded and blushed a bit as Luke placed another kiss on my cheek. The warmth of the flames was starting to make me fall asleep and before I knew it I was passed out Luke was still awake making sure I was comfortable but also wanted to move me to the couch. Masky and Hoodie happened to see the two of us on the living room floor and offered to help move me while one of them went to look for a blanket Luke said "I thought moving her was a death sentence". Masky said "Only if we move her quick enough but not too quick to wake her", I shifted my body a bit in my sleep Luke said "Looks like you are trying to make it harder for us to move you" Maksy said, "for me yes but for you no". As the night went on Masky and Luke were able to move me to the couch without waking me up, the next morning I woke up on the couch as Luke was cuddling next to me on the couch. I blushed feeling how close we were seeing that we hadn't slept like this in a long time I didn't want to move soon Luke woke up seeing that I was awake and placed a kiss on my lips.
