Mysterious Adventure Part 2

Chapter 40

The contractions that I was feeling were coming closer together as I started feeling the need to push I was getting ready to hit the call button for the nurses but I sensed a presence in my room I said "Whoever you are I'm in no mood to chase you around". The figure moved behind me placing their lips on the side of my neck I blushed a bit as tears ran down my cheeks feeling the gentle touch of Luke's hand on mine. The guard that was in front of my room turned around and Luke was next to me The Guard said "Hey you can't be in here you need to leave" Luke said "I'm not going anywhere" The Guard said, "Don't escalate things you need to leave". Luke looked at the guard and saw that he was reaching for something Luke put up a barrier, and as the guard pulled out his gun the nurses and security stepped in removing him from the building. I was relieved that the guard was gone, and my body started to loosen while doing so I squeezed onto Luke's hand more firmly another nurse walked into the room closing the door behind her. The nurse checked to see if I was ready moving quickly and carefully trying not to cause discomfort the nurse said "Looks like you're ready let me go find the doctor so we can deliver your baby". I nodded my head as we waited for the nurse to find the doctor the pain in my lower body started to get unbearable I said "L-Luke I think I need to ah-". Hours passed as crying could be heard doctor said "There, there your momma is right here, congratulations it's a girl" the doctor placed our newborn baby on my chest while they cleaned her up. They wrapped her up in a blanket and handed her back to us the nurse said "We'll leave the three of you alone for a while" the nurse and doctor left the room leaving me and Luke alone with our newborn baby girl. I said "Where's Rose and Hunter," Luke said "their at my parent's place" I signed with relief I said "And the others" Luke said, "They're worried sick". I said "I don't know what happened the only thing I remember was being in the mansion upstairs in my room and the next thing I know I woke up in a prison cell" Luke placed his lips on mine and pulled away moments after. Luke said "You and the baby are safe that's all that matters to me" I gave a small smile up at Luke before looking back down at our baby girl watching her sleep. Luke said "Once you're out of here we can head back to the mansion" I nodded as I started to feel sleepy Luke removed our baby girl from my arms so I could rest as he sat down in the chair next to the bed with her. I woke up in the middle of the night to the sound of my newborn baby crying I got up out of bed and walked over to her picking her up gently as I walked back over to the bed to feed her. After a few days in the hospital, I was discharged and released I walked out with Luke as he was holding our newborn I looked around the area to see if the guard from before was still lingering around. 

We started walking back to the mansion until we were teleported to the mansion everyone started running up to me and hugging me Jane said "We're glad that you're okay" Sally said "Don't ever do that again" Slender said, "alright everyone give her some space". I walked up to my room plopping down on the bed as Luke placed our baby in the crib gently and carefully, then he walked over to the bed sitting next to me. Luke said "told you everyone was worried about you" I said "Yeah but, I didn't think it would be this much" Luke pulled some of my hair back behind my ear as I looked up at him. Luke saw the tiredness in my eyes he walked over to the chair grabbing the extra blanket on the chair and placed it over me as I drifted off to sleep Luke walked out of the room quietly closing the door behind him. As I slept the warmth of the soft blanket rubbed against my skin when I woke up I noticed that the room was quiet a bit too quiet I jolted out of bed and ran downstairs to see Luke holding the newborn baby in his arms in the chair in the living room. Jane walked over seeing that I was awake Jane said "Have you thought of a name for her yet" I said "No not yet, still thinking of one" Jane said "It will come to you just when you least expect it" I smiled at Jane. The three of us relaxed in the living room for a bit until Luke noticed that I was starting off into space Luke said "Hey are you okay" I said "Hm? Oh yeah, I'm fine just... thinking" I wasn't lying but I was remembering the things Jeff did. Luke walked over still holding our newborn he sat down next to me placing his one free hand on my back and rubbing it causing me to tense up a bit Luke said "Jeff can't hurt you anymore, it still sickens me that he did that to you" I lean on Luke's shoulder as I rested my eyes. Luke said "As for her name what about Jade," I said "It's perfect" and then I drifted off to sleep Luke smiled watching me sleep as he kissed my forehead, covering me up with the blankets on the bed. I woke up in the middle of the night hearing Jade getting fussy I got up out of bed and walked over to Jade to see what she wanted I sat down in the rocking chair feeding her. While covering her up with a blanket in case someone was to walk into the room when she was done eating I rubbed her back hearing her burp slightly then I placed her back into her crib. As I walked back over to the bed I felt something was off but I didn't know if it was my paranoia messing with my head the markings on my body weren't glowing. As I was getting ready to lay back down I could hear someone walking around downstairs but I knew that they were out on a mission so who could have snuck into the mansion. I walked over to the door while grabbing one of my knives and walked out of the bedroom closing the door behind me quietly and started walking downstairs to see who was walking around the mansion.
