Chapter 48

The day came without warning, but I knew the others would be able to handle themselves but I knew they were worried about hurting me I stood hidden in a tree while Jack stood on the ground the pain in my head was still there, but dulled a bit. Off in the distance, I saw Jeff and the others walking behind him Jack said, "Do you see them" I said, "If someone wasn't scared of heights, you would be able to see them" Jack said, "Don't you fucking start" I said, "Then yes, I see them". It took us a while to get over to them, and when we did, blood was shed, thankfully no deaths, but there were very close calls then the pain in my head hit again, only this time I could hear both Slender and Zalgo at the same time. Masky and Hoodie took this as an opportunity to pin me to the ground I could hear the two talking, but I couldn't make out what they were saying it was all muffled out over the screaming in my head from Zalgo and Slender. Hoodie pushed Masky out of the way as my knife came across his face, causing a bit of blood to hit the ground I said, "Get out of my fucking damm head!" then everything went dark didn't know if I still had control over my body. After what seemed like an eternity, I woke up in a bed I looked around the room, seeing that I was back in the mansion, but something seemed off about it I went to sit up and heard a chain as I looked, there was a chain around my ankle. A knock was placed on the door as they came into the room quietly, seeing that I was awake, Slender said, "How are you feeling, my child" I said, "feel like fucking shit, but... there's no more screaming in my head". Slender said "Zalgo tried using one of use to get to you and when he did he tried using you to get rid of me" I said "how's hoodie I didn't mean to hurt him" Slender said "he's doing just fine you should get more rest and I'll bring up your meals when they are ready" I nodded and laid back down. I didn't ask about the chain around my ankle I knew it was a safety precaution in case Zalgo still had you under his control, your children would come into the room accompanied by Jane or Eyeless Jack. Rose tried a few times to visit me unaccompanied by someone, and Masky happened to catch her one day trying to do so as the months went by, Slender came into the room and unchained me from the bed. I walked out of the room where my daughter Rose and my son Hunter ran up to me with tears in their eyes, hugging my legs I hugged them back as my own tears fell from my cheeks. I said, "Where's your father, Luke" Jane said, "he... he went back to his parent's house" I said, "Why" Jane said, "he didn't say" I looked down at the ground "he probably just needs some space right now," I thought to myself. But I knew deep down that it was going to be a long road to recovery for both of us later that night, after I had put them to bed, I tried calling him after a few rings, but it went to voicemail.
