Mysterious Adventure Part 2

Chapter 38

A week passed and I was out on a mission with Ben everything seemed to be going fine until I felt that feeling again but it's been a long while I leaned onto a tree as a small sharp pain ran through my head causing Ben to check on me. Ben said "Hey are you okay," I said "The sharp pain is back but I don't think-" the pain in my head got sharper Ben pulled out his weapon and climbed up the tree I was holding onto checking the perimeter. Before jumping back down Ben said "We need to get you out of here" I shook my head no trying to get the pain to subside I said, "I'll be fine we need to continue the mission". Ben went to walk forward but I pushed him out of the way as an arrow came flying by almost hitting me in my arm Ben said "Looks like we found our target" I said "Looks like our target found us". We split as Ben was taking care of the one up in a tree while I took care of the one on the ground, after a while I was about to finish off one of our targets but the sharp pain in my head returned. Ben looked over seeing what was happening Ben said "shit" he grabbed the dead target's bow and arrow shooting the second target in the head and rushed over to me. Ben said "We need to get you out of here and now, I'll report to Slender that the mission is done" my vision was starting to blur which wasn't good my body began to feel weak. Ben picked me up and rushed me to the mansion my head still throbbing from the sharp pain, once we made it to the mansion I could hear muffled sounds of something I could hear footsteps running over to us, and then I passed out. I wasn't sure how long I was out but when I woke up I saw that I was in the medical room the pain in my head was gone as I sat up in bed. Hoodie said "Glad to see that you're awake" I said "How long was I out for" Hoodie said "Almost the whole day, Ben explained to Slender what happened" I moved to the side of the bed placing my feet on the ground wanting to stand. Hoodie walked over having me lean on him for support Hoodie said "Easy, you just woke up and your body is still processing what happened" I wanted to leave the room but I knew Slender wouldn't be happy. Hoodie said "I know you want to leave the room to get fresh air but Slender wants you to stay here" a light knock was placed on the door I looked up and saw that it was Ben he ran over hugging me. Time passed and Slender came into the room hopefully with answers Slender said "Well done on getting the mission done, Ben told me that the sharp pains are coming back". I said "Yes but I don't know what could be causing them to come back" I knew what the cause was I just didn't want to say it or at least hear Slender say it. Slender said "It's possible that Zalgo could be involved but those chances are low" Hoodie said "So something else could be at work is what you're saying" I said, "Will this affect the baby" Slender said, "That's what we're finding out". 

All I could do was hope that this wasn't affecting the baby Im sure Luke is worried as well since he is visiting his parents with the kids this week Slender said "For now rest up and I'll have a new mission for you in a few days" I nodded my head as Slender left the room. I sat on the bed trying not to worry about the baby Hoodie said "We'll be here if u need anything" Ben said "Just yell for us if anything" I nodded my head as I laid back in bed getting some rest. Weeks went by and the more worried I felt about the baby Luke said "Hey why don't we go on a walk" I looked up and gave a small nod as I went on a walk with Luke in the woods. Luke could tell that something was on my mind I felt his hand run down my arm causing me to jump a little bit I said "Sorry Luke guess I'm still jumpy" Luke said "It's okay honestly I think you've improved" I gave a small smile. Luke said "What's on your mind," I said "I'm just worried about the baby is all, I'm sure your parents are worried about me" Luke said "They miss seeing you but they understand that your busy" I squeezed Luke's hand a bit feeling the nice cool breeze. Luke walked in front of me placing a kiss on my lips Luke said "Everything is going to be okay" I said "Is it though Luke every time I think it's okay I end up in someone's hands to be used or controlled". Luke pulled me into a hug as the baby gave small kicks Luke said "Guess the baby doesn't want me to hug you" I giggled at Luke and I said, "Guess not". We walked back to the mansion when I noticed the markings on my body were slightly glowing I looked around hoping that it wasn't Jack as I kept looking around I saw Nick in the distance. Nick noticed me and started walking over to me as he got closer I pulled out one of my knives at him Nick said "Hey, I'm not here to hurt you" I said "Like hell what do you want" Nick said, "can you put the knife down". I said "Not a chance answers now" Luke turned around to see Nick standing in front of me and walked over pushing him away from me Luke stood in front of me protecting me from Nick. Luke said "The hell do you want from her, you've caused enough damage," Nick said "I came to tell her about the markings on her body" I said, "Tell me something I already don't know about it". Nick said "It's possible that they could be tracking you" my eyes widened the thought of Zalgo tracking me through my markings could only mean that no one was safe. Nick said "If I didn't give you these markings none of this would have happened," I said, "So you're saying I could have lived a normal fucking life with Slender if it wasn't for you interfering". Nick gave a small nod I was about ready to lunge at him but Luke grounded me Luke said "I think it's best that you leave" Nick backed off and walked back to where he was staying Nick said "Tell my daughter I said hi" I said "go to hell". As we walked back to the mansion and I went upstairs to take a shower but to also help clear my thoughts while Luke went to go check on the kids.
