Chapter 56

Few hours went by in unbearable pain as you bore down again then there was no more pain as the room filled with small cries I looked down to see that Nick is bringing a newborn baby up to my chest Masky's eye widened with shock as he stared at the newborn. The newborn soon quieted when they were placed on your chest the test was wrong and Smile dog was right all along Nick said "its a girl" I laid there trying to catch my breath. The thunderstorm slowly started to calm down Masky kept on trying to put the pieces together I never once pushed Nick away but thought that the only reason I didn't was because of the adrenaline and after shock of giving birth. You laid there with your newborn daughter on your chest the cord was cut and the placenta was delivered your eyes started to feel heavy I said "Nick... take her" and he did so with out question as you fell asleep Masky watched as he picked up the small bundle gently can carefully as she fussed a little bit but settled back down against his chest. Then something clicked in Masky's head as he looked at the newborn one more time this was Nick's second child knowing full well that Rose was his first Masky said "you took advantage of her again" Nick said "no she gave consent this time". Those words hit Masky in the chest like he knew I didn't give consent the first time Masky said "and you expect me to believe you" Nick said "then ask her when she wakes up" Nick sat down in the chair rocking his newborn daughter while I slept not that far away from him. Later in the night the newborn baby girl started to get fussy pulling me awake and I started to sit up I said "Nick hand her to me she hungry" Nick got up and walked over to you as you pulled down the sleeve to your shirt and started feeding your baby while Nick and Masky are in the room. Once I was done feeding her I burped her gently as she fell back asleep Masky said "we need to get you back to the mansion" I said "Masky I can barely walk unless you insist on carrying me and the baby" Masky went quiet for a moment. I said "I understand that you are trying to be helpful Masky but I cant leave until she has a strong enough immune system if I were to walk out now" Masky said "she would get sick" you watched as he paced the room Masky said "so what do I tell the others then". I said "that I got injured really bad and I will return when I am all healed up" Masky looked over at Nick still wanting to believe that he was controlling me or manipulating me but still dropped it as he nodded and walked off I placed the newborn baby girl on the bed next to me gently as I fell back asleep. The cabin fell quiet again until the newborn needed to be fed again or changed and held I was still trying to wrap my head around that I was truly pregnant there were no signs no symptoms and yet here she was.
