Chapter 47

Days turned into weeks as Slender tried to break the control Zalgo had over me, but it was not letting up, not this time, and risking one of my children to try to snap me out of it was completely out of the question. If he sent anyone else in, it would be a death sentence, so Slender was left with no choice but to do it himself, while yes, everyone was worried about him, but most knew what he was doing. Slender's tendrils came out from his back as one pierced my shoulder, causing me to scream out in pain as blood trickled out and onto the floor under my feet then Jack appeared behind him I said, "Took you fucking damn long enough". Jack said, "Boss won't be happy about this" I said, "I could give two shits on what he fucking thinks" Slender turns around, seeing Jack behind him, but more importantly sees that I'm not lunging at him. Then, after a while, Jack left, disappearing into thin air when shooting pain shot through my head, causing me to scream in pain I said, "War is coming, and there's nothing you can do about it" after that, I passed out, and my body was moving on its own, or I was being moved. My mind felt like I was being split in two, then my vision came back as I was in the middle of a battlefield, as Zalgo was shouting orders I could see that I was attacking a test dummy that looked like Slender. Jack was on the other side of the battlefield I turned over to him as I went to throw one of my daggers at him I watched as he dodged out of the way as he turned over, walking to me, Jack said, "The hell is your fucking problem" I said, "Testing to see if you would fucking move". Zalgo said, "Enough, both of you, we only have a week until we take down Slender and his so-called children and use one of his children to do so" you clenched your hand into a fist, but never lunged at him. As Night came around, Jack was passing by your room, or more so your sleeping quarters and saw that you were still awake Jack said "you should be sleeping" I said "not tired" Jack said "boss isn't going to be happy when he finds out" I said "i'm not fucking tired leave it at that alright damn". Jack walked off as he probably went back to his own room I looked up at the night sky as I stretched out my wings I wanted to fly out into the night sky and feel the cool wind on my skin, but Zalgo had me on a short leash and wouldn't let me out of his sight. Before I knew it, I fell asleep even though I fought against my body to stay awake, but couldn't the next morning, I woke up to the sun filtering through my sleeping quarters as I sat up in bed, rubbing my eyes, I looked over, seeing Jack standing in the archway. I said, "You ever fucking knock" Jack said, "Don't need to now, come on, boss wants to talk with us about the mission" as he walked off, I quickly got dressed and walked over to where Zalgo was waiting.
