Mysterious Adventure Part 2

Chapter 37

I was out in the city flying in the sky making sure I was not seen by anyone even though I was more visible in the air than on the ground I went around to every house marking them as potential targets for the others. The morning sickness had dived down a bit but still lingered as I was making my way to the next location I was spotted by someone they started running and I couldn't risk being caught so I went after them taking on a different form. I ran after them they screamed in terror as I chased them trying to close the distance between us I noticed that they were running into an abandoned park. Once I was close enough I jumped on them pinning them to the ground while also causing their leg to twist in a certain way breaking their screams of agony was satisfying. At that moment my vision went dark as if I had lost control of the form I was under I could barely hear what was going around me I heard screaming, and then it went silent, when I woke up or regained my vision I was back at the mansion. Masky said "Glad to see that you are okay and awake" I sat up in bed placing my hand on my head as it throbbed Hoodie said, "Care to tell us what happened," I said, "What happened?." Masky said "Try to remember what you can" I said "I was in the city marking the houses Slender had on a list and someone spotted me so I went after them not taking any risks. I had them pinned down at an abandoned park and I was getting ready to kill them but everything went black" Masky said "What do you mean everything went black". I said "I was in one of my forms I didn't know what I turned into" Hoodie's eye's widened when I mentioned one of my forms Hoodie said "we've never seen you use this form before though". Masky said, "we didn't know it was you until Rose came running out telling us not to hurt you" Hoodie said "the form you took on it resembled one of Zalgo's minions" I gripped onto the blanket processing what Hoodie just said. I said "n-no that's impossible" Hoodie said "that's what we want to know" Masky said, "Slender needs to be notified about this immediately". Hoodie said "it's possible that Zalgo could be trying to use this new form as a way to spy on us" I said "but what if Slender wants to get rib of me because of this new form that I have". Masky said "he wouldn't discard you like that not to any of us he sees potential in you like he does the rest of us, sure how we kill and the way we kill are different just as long as we get the job done". Rose said "mommy" the three of us looked at the door way seeing Rose stand there before running over to the bed climbing up I said "what is it baby" Rose said "I told them to not hurt you mommy" tears welted up in my eyes as I hugged her. So many things could have gone wrong knowing Rose had put herself in danger like that Masky said "We're all still surprised Rose knew it was you". I heard the sound of someone's footsteps coming up to my room I looked up as I'm met with a pair of lips on mine causing my body to jolt backward Luke said "I'm glad your okay". Hoodie said, "rest up for now and we'll talk to Slender later" I nodded my head as Masky and Hoodie left my room leaving me, Luke and Rose alone I said "where's Hunter" Luke said "playing with Eyeless Jack" I smiled as I leaned back into bed. 

I took a half-hour nap as I sat up in bed I could hear someone talking downstairs I got out of bed to see who it was once I got downstairs to the living room I saw that it was Hoodie and Masky talking Hoodie said "Ready to talk to Slender" I said "as ready as I'll ever be". We walked upstairs toward Slender's office once we reached his door Hoodie was about to knock until Slender told us to come in Hoodie opened the door and I walked in with the two of them following behind. Hoodie closed the door behind us as we walked over to him Slender said "There's something you would like to discuss with me" I looked at Slender seeing him sitting at his desk I explained to him what happened on the mission I was doing. Also telling him that I was worried it could be connected to Zalgo Slender said "There are a few percussions I would like to take, first one being is there's going to be someone monitoring you to keep you in check while you go on missions". Masky said "And the second" Slender said "That is something only I can know Masky" I was worried about what the second one could be but I tried not to dwell on it Slender said, "Now go and prepare for your next mission tomorrow, whoever is available will be accompanying you". I nodded, thanking Slender we walked out of his office and walked back into the living room as we made it to the couch I started to feel dizzy not knowing if it was from the baby. I held onto the couch catching myself sensing I was about to pass out I stood there for a moment Masky said "Take it easy, don't push yourself" Hoodie picked me up and placed me on the chair. Hoodie walked into the kitchen to get me something to drink I said "I've been making sure I eat and drink something so this doesn't happen" Masky said, "What about sleep". I looked at the floor guilty Masky said "After this mission tomorrow you are getting a few day's rest we mean it this time" I nodded my head knowing not to argue with him. Hoodie said "We are just worried for you and want what's best for you" I said "I know Hoodie and I thank you all of you for looking after me even if I can be stubborn about it sometimes" Masky said "All the time" I laughed a bit. Jane came down with a pillow and two blankets turning the chair I was sitting in into a bed Jane said "You can sleep here for tonight and Smile dog will be making sure you say put unless you have to go to the bathroom". Smile dog walked up jumping in the chair being careful not to step on my stomach laying down and placing his head on my side I slowly drifted off to sleep as Masky, Hoodie, and Jane walked upstairs.
