" Saw you
dancing in a crowded room..."

Nanami's point of view—

"IS THIS SERIOUSLY ALL CAUSED BY

Mieko's guilt?"
Utahime asked worriedly, asking 'Checkmate' man from our earlier encounter, which recently we learned his name was Clyde.

"Well... I suppose it's not all hers. It's probably some of his too."
He spoke amongst the chaos in front of us.

A entire block, in the heart of New York City, was now completely inhabitable as buildings burned and streets were blocked all caused by several cursed spirits that were heavily attracted to the area. In the background all that could be heard was the sirens belonged to emergency vehicles called upon due to the havoc. I wonder if any of those sirens were an ambulance for Mieko, or if Anna listened to my rather odd request. I doubt it.

"How strong is he?"
Utahime questioned Clyde once again, as the man just stood examining the infected area, observing and creating his plan, as he was in charge of this mission.

"... Think if Gojo went rogue."
He simply said with a heavily disappointment in his tone.

"Mieko's Husband was as strong as me?"
Gojo asked.

I instantly winced upon hearing the words; Mieko's Husband.
The secret was out.

I had known the secret for quite some time, ever since that day when the rain when the cursed energy shaped as a man was yelling at her. It was all the guilt she held towards her husband's death.
But, I knew I wasn't supposed to know this, so to hear others finally acknowledge the information out loud simply felt wrong, as if I was betraying Mieko by no longer protecting her secret that she so desperately tried to hide.

The secret that she was indeed a widow. A heartbroken widow that refused to move on.

"No. Mieko easily kicked his ass when he was alive and that was when he was once a curse user. And considering the fact that he's a newly formed cursed spirit, he won't have all his strength either. But the situation is severe enough, we need to treat it that way."
Clyde explained, as he nodded some of his students off to go take their places in his plan for success he was creating.

"What does she have to feel so guilty about?"
Utahime asked with a pained tone, I could only assume, she regretted in this moment, every moment she was cruel or made a rude remark to Mieko concerning the possibility.

She has nothing to feel guilty about, it wasn't her fault. But to her; she had everything to feel guilty about.

"If I explained everything, Kwang-Ho and the other cursed spirits would have this state tore to shreds. Time is our only factoring issue here."
