JUST A SMALL CUT

"OH FOR FUCK SAKES!"

Gojo cried when his eye's caught sight of the time on the clock behind Mieko.

Her attention snapped up from her computer, looking up at the man.
"What?"

"Nanami should've been here two hours ago!"
Gojo hollered out in irritation, quickly leaving the shared office of the two.

In a panic, Mieko got up from her desk, grabbing her coat and purse swiftly as she passed them in her quick shuffle outside with Gojo.

"Gojo! Is something wrong!?"
She yelled out down the hallway of the building, as Gojo was already waiting by the elevators.

Gojo looked back at her, then he pressed the elevator's button several times in hopes it would speed it up. When the girl stood by his side before the doors opened, he sighed.

"Go back, Mieko. I'll deal with it."
Gojo told the woman.

"No! What's wrong!?"
Mieko cried out once more.

"Don't worry about it, Mieko. I got in under control."
Gojo said.

"No. I won't not worry about it, not if it concerns Kento."
Mieko sincerely and gently asserted. Gojo passed a glance over his shoulder at the woman, seeing her determination on her face. He sighed, knowing there was no way to convince her otherwise.

"Don't say I didn't warn you."
Gojo warned the woman, as he placed the keys into the lock.

He gave her a look for confirmation, and when she nodded, he turned the key and opened the door, allowing her to walk in first. Instantly she gasped, and without looking in, Gojo nodded knowing what she was seeing.

"Yep."
He simply said, walking in the apartment. Unexpectedly he wasn't expecting to see Nanami passed out in the kitchen with empty bottles scattered everywhere.

"Yep."
Gojo said once more, huffing out his disapproval. Of course Mieko had to see the absolute worst.

Mieko took her purse, laying it next to where she sat on the floor next to Nanami's sleeping figure.
"Nanami."
She said gently, trying to shake the man awake, when it failed she slowly started to roughen her shakes.

"Nanami!"
She called out louder, her eyes starting to well due to severity of Nanami's unconsciousness state.

"Nanami!"
She called out once more, with a final shake his eyes fluttered open only for a second.

The first thing he seen waking up, was Mieko's worried face. Given the track record of whenever he seen Mieko's face, especially in despair, he instantly started to sob, and tried pushing the woman away but failed since he was still half asleep.
