Ghost Story

(Y/n)'s POV

"So this is happening..."

'This shouldn't be happening!'

"But it is..."

'This was supposed to be a simple trip to Ninjago.'

"Should we tell the Ninja?"

'Definitely not! Especially since Wu is here.'

"Take positions." Wu commands.

We went to the deck and look over the side to see Morro approaching with his Elemental dragon.

"Ah, I give you this much. That ninja never quits." Cole says.

Morro ready his dragon for an attack.

"Port side!" Zane warned.

Nya turned the ship to the side and luckily missed the blast Morro's dragon sent.

"The cannons." Cole says.

Jay and B.Z activated the cannons and started blasting at Morro but missed every time.

Nya turned the ship, dogging another blast from the ghost dragon.

Jay grunts, "Let me get this straight. You're just telling us now that you had another pupil before us, and now his Cursed spirit has possessed Lloyd, all so that he can take your staff?!"

"He could've done that without making a dramatic entrance."

"Morro won't stop until he gets what he's after." Wu tells us. "There's a secret message engraved on it. All these years I had no idea."

"Of course," Jay laughs, "Just another day in Ninjago."

"Can't we just destroy the staff or something?" I ask.

Wu glares at me and I shrugg, "I said, or something, I didn't say we had to destroy the staff."

"But it would solve this stupid mess."

"If this is as fast as the Bounty goes, I think we're in some serious trouble." Cole states.

Morro flew upside down above the ship. Once he stopped he made the dragon disappear and landed on the Bounty.

"Oh fudge."

"I need ink and parchment to make an imprint to see what's on the staff." Wu says.

"Kai, B.Z, and I will take you to our quarters, while Jay, (Y/n), and Cole will keep him busy." Zane tells him.

"I'm sorry, we're going to what?" I ask.

"Oh, that's honorable of you to nominate us." Cole sarcastically states.

"Yeah, we didn't fare so hot last time." Jay spoke. "Why is it you get off with the easy task?"

"Because I'm the intelligent one." Zane answers.

"Can't argue with logic."

Jay sighs and turns to Morro, "Let's take this guy."

We all charged at him with weapons but he easily defeated us and knocked us back.

"Okay, Panther, time to get angry." Cole grunts.

"Get angry? I'm not the Hulk, buddy, so I'm not turning green anytime soon." I say.

"But you're Lloyd's opposite, he's the element of energy and creation." He argues.

"And you're the element of darkness and destruction." Jay finishes.
