(Y/n’s) POV

After we got back to the Temple, everyone immediately got to doing their own thing, not sure what Lloyd was doing but Kai, Morro, Blue Jay and Black Bear, my nickname for the black one, were training outside, Nya was still trying to fix up Zane back at the cave and me…

…Well, Misako, or mom as I should call her, was telling me all about our adventures, hoping it would help me regain my memories while we sat beside the still sleeping Wu.

“...Once you and Lloyd were able to wield the power of the Dragon Glaive, you were finally able to defeat Senka and the Horde.” She finishes telling me about how I defeated an army of shadows.

“Whooaa.” I let out, I never imagined I had that much power inside me, one thing was very clear to me, “I am AWESOME!”

“Shh!” Mom hisses as she points to Wu.

I cover my mouth, “Oops, I mean, I am awesome!” I whisper as Mom just shook her head in amusement.

I then remember something from the stories she told me, “Did I really used to hate you?” I ask.

Mom frowns and nods, “Yes, though most of the blame belongs to Senka, I did make the terrible choice of abandoning my children for the sake of the realm.” She sighs before looking away, “What a fool I was.”

I frown at her, seeing the pain in her eyes, before smiling and taking her hand, making her look at me, “I know this might sound a bit hollow but, I can tell your really sorry about what you did and I want you to know I don’t hold any animosity towards you for it, at least not now I do.”

Mom lets out a sigh of relief and gives me a slightly teary smile back, “Thank you sweetie.” She says before kissing my cheek, making me blush.

‘Wow, I must’ve been a real idiot if i preferred hating her over having her kisses.’

The moment was ruined when we notice Wu thrashing around in his bed before waking up and turning to us, “Misako, and (Y/n). At my side.” he breathes in relief.

“Of course, as we always will be.” Misako says, “And as you always will be for me.”

He then looks a bit worried about something, “What’s the matter?” I ask.

“(Y/n), if you don’t mind, I’d like to talk to your mother privately for a bit.” Wu requests.

I raise a brow and then turn to mom. She smiles and gestures to the door.

I make a small, unsure smile back before standing up, “I’ll be just outside.” I tell her.

She nods and then I walk out of the room.

I head downstairs before going outside to see the other guys training. Not wanting to interrupt, I sat at a safe distance near Blue Jay and Black Bear.

"Zane is down." Black Bear grunts, "(Y/n) has no memories. Folks disappearing all over town, and we can't do a thing to help!"

He continues to attack the punching mitts, "If we just knew why Acronix and Krux are taking people…"

"You know my theory–" Blue Jay states before he gets interrupted.

"For the last time, they are not hostages!" Black Bear tells him.

"How can you be sure?" Blue Jay asks.

"No ransom note." Black Bear replies.

"Maybe they're going to hypnotize them into being an army?" Blue Jay suggests.

Black Bear sighs, "Krux and Acronix already have an army…of Samurai snakes!"

He starts to punch harder, forcing Blue Jay to back up a bit, "Well, you know my other theories…"
