Operation Land Ho!

(Y/n)'s POV

"(Y/n)..."

"(Y/n)!"

"Wake up idiot!"

My eyes snap open as I quickly sit up.

"Wait, where am I!" I exclaim, suddenly remembering what had just happened a few moments ago.

"Calm down kiddo, take a deep breath." I hear someone say.

I turn to see an old couple, and behind them was Jay, who was sitting down.

"And eating soup...Ninjago is falling apart, and he's eating soup. That's just great."

I ignore Senka and stare at the old couple, "You're Jay's parents!"

'That means we're in the junkyard Jay grew up in.'

"Oh, Ed. That means Jay talks about us, isn't that sweet." Edna coos.

"Mom!" Jay complains.

"You're right, Edna, it is." Ed states.

I smile as Jay groans behind them.

'Jay showed me pictures of these guys, they're so nice.'

"They're old."

'Senka!'

"Just saying."

"Well, as nice as it is to finally meet you, we have a Djinn to worry about." I tell them.

"Uh, you mean 'we' as in you and I, right? With the amount of power we have, I'm sure we could throw Nadakhan and his crew into a volcano."

'You do realize that I can't use all that power without getting really angry,  right?'

"And?"

'No.'

"Buzzkill."

Jay sighs, "Yep, we have to defeat a Djinn. It's all up to us and us alone, to stop the wedding and save the world. Just two ninja against a Djinn and his entire army."

"Now, you stop it." Ed scolds, "Stop making excuses!”

I was surprised by Ed’s strictness, “Um, beg your pardon.”

“Every time you kids are in over your heads, you make a joke and you try to laugh it off.” Ed Explains, “Right now is not a time to be a man or woman of words, but a man and woman of action.”

"Ed, don't be so hard on him." Says Edna.

'I think we should let the man speak his mind.'

"I can't believe you're encouraging this."

"Now, he needs to hear this, darling." Ed tells her, "The world is falling apart, and he's eating soup."

"But I told you, it's just (Y/n) and I." Jay sputters.

"Hush, puppy!" Ed exclaims, "You're liked by everyone who meets ya and (Y/n)'s able to turn enemies into allies. You're telling me a boy from a junkyard and an ex-darklord's girl can't scrap together a few friends to help them out in a jam?"

I give Jay a nudge, "He's not wrong, you know. With the right people, we can pull this mission off."

Jay smiles, "You're right, let's do this!"

Since we didn't have the weapons we wanted, Jay had to get swords while I found a mace.
