The Attack

(Y/n)’s POV

In the study room Me, Morro, Zane, Cole and Jay were looking at the two Time Blades we got, while Lloyd, who was talking to uncle Wu, and Kai and Nya were researching and thinking.

“Whoa, amazing.” Cole said in awe.

“Yeah, totally cool.” Morro adds.

“They are unlike anything I have ever seen.” Zane says.

“I can see why Krux and Acronix wanted these so badly.” I say, holding up the Forward Blade.

“So cool.” Jay says as he holds the Slow-mo Blade as well.

“I must urge caution you two,” Zane warns us, “The Time Blades are powerful weapon.”

Jay turns to Zane, “Uh, you think we don’t know that?” Jay asks, “Check this.” He then throws his Timeblade at the painted target on the boxes.

“My turn!” I declare before throwing my blade at the target as well, “Boom! Ha! Eight bull’s eyes in a row!”

“Try to beat that!” Jay challenges Cole.

Cole smirks, “Oh, I did.”

“Oh yeah? When?” I ask as Cole goes over to the Slow-mo Blade.

“When I got nine in a row.” he answers.

“Okay.” Jay mumbles, “Yeah, if you wanna count that.”

Morro then raises a brow at us, “Um, didn’t your mom warn us not to play around with the Time Blades?” He asks as he takes the Forward Blade.

I scoff, “Please, what mom doesn’t know won't hurt us.” I assure him, “Besides, what’s wrong with testing out the blades’ powers?”

“She’s right. Check this out!” Cole says as he throws a box into the air. He uses the Slow-mo Blade to slow down the box's fall.

Jay points at Cole, "Ha-ha! You missed."

"Did I? Slow-moving target. Easy-peasy, lemon." Cole questions before jumping into the air and slicing the slow falling box apart, "And that's how you recycle an empty box."

"That box was not empty." Zane points out.

Jay screams before running up to the ripped up stuffed animal, "Mr. Cuddlywump…is a teddy bear I used to love when I was five, but now he's totally lame and-"

"Then I guess you won't mind if I take it for a bit." Morro raises the forward Blade and time jumps over to Jay before taking the stuffed animal. He time jumps back over to me and waves it in the air, taunting Jay.

"Morro, put him down!" Jay orders as he tries to get the stuffed animal back from my boyfriend.

"Just admit it, Jay." Says Morro.

"We know you still sleep with him." Cole states.

Jay finally gets the stuffed animal back and hugs it, "Okay, I do! And I don't care who knows it! Mr.Cuddlywump."

"Switching to playful mode." Zane takes the Slow-mo Blade from Cole and starts spinning before throwing it at a wall behind Nya.

"Hey, watch it. I'm working here." Nya states.

"Sorry, Nya." Zane apologizes as he retrieves the Time Blade.

"What's with Nya?" Cole asks, "She's been on her computer since we got back from the desert."

"She's become obsessed with finding her stolen Samurai X suit." I answer.

Cole groans, "Ugh. She's as bad as her brother."
