First Date Fright

(Y/n)'s POV

I’ve been to the Underworld, the Realm of Madness, the Dark Island, inside a volcano, at the bottom of the Endless Sea, the Cloud Kingdom, and many more terrifying and crazy places.

But where I'm about to go will be by far the scariest of all…

…My First Date with Morro!!

“This is gonna be terrible!” I shout as I walk back and forth around my room while Nya and Mom watch me, “What if the place we’re going to explodes?!”

“Umm, that doesn’t sound-” Nya tries to tell me.

“Or what if the Overlord comes back and we’re not there to help you?!” I add frantically hyperventilating.

“I highly doubt that's gonna happe-” Nya tries to to tell me again but I interrupted her again.

"Or worst of all, what if I say something stupid and Morro's so embarrassed by me he decides I'm not good enough to be his girlfriend?!" I shriek as I pull my hair. "This is gonna be a disa-!"

I then feel a grip on my shoulders and I was turned towards mom, "(Y/n), calm down!" She tells me. "That's not you talking, that's just your anxiety and fear talking."

"I'm just so worried!" I tell her. “I’ve never had a boyfriend before! I've even tried making cue-cards!” I show them a deck of white flashcards.

“Everyone gets the first date jitters before they go out, it’s nothing to be ashamed of.” she tells me before she glances away from me with a grin. “I was a regular basketcase when your father asked me out.”

"(Y/n), trust me, i'm sure he's as nervous about this date as you are." Nya states.

I look at her raised brow, "Morro? Nervous? We're talking about the same guy, right?"

Nya laughs, "Yep! I'm sure he's super anxious about going on a date with you."

My eyes widen, "Really?! Does he think I'll ruin it?!"

"Actually…" Kai walks into the room with a smirk, "He's probably more nervous than you right now. Cole and Lloyd are giving him 'the talk'." He thinks for a bit, "Well, it's mainly Cole who's talking, Lloyd has just been glaring at him."

I deadpan, "Of course." I said as mom chuckled.

Kai jerks his thumb to the hall, “Anyway I don’t wanna miss the Mighty Morro getting his meltdown.” He says before leaving.

I sigh, “This date is gonna be a disaster.” Nya then came over and held my shoulder.

"It's going to be fine, let's just focus on getting you ready for your man," She says before she starts pushing me away.

"W-wait, where are we going?!" I ask.

"Dress-up time!" Nya cheers.

“Dress-up?! Wait, no, I was just going to wear a jacket and some jeans!" I exclaim.

"You are not wearing jeans and a jacket on your first date!" Nya glares.

My eyes widen and I decide to accept what's happening in order to avoid facing Nya's wrath.

I tried that once and needless to say…It didn’t end well.

She pushes me into the closet and surfs through the dresses to find the perfect one.

“Hmm,” She hums, “Nope, too small, too dull, too poofy.” She kept on denying.

I look at her in confusion, “I thought you hated dresses.”
