Frenemy Hunt

(Y/n)'s POV

After the TV turns off I glare at the floor, "Senka! What did you do?!" I yell.

Senka makes an appearance with a bored look on her face. "How many times do I have to tell you? You're powerful, and now, thanks to me, all of Ninjago knows it."

The shadow glances around and finds herself on the receiving end of a bunch of glares.

"People are going to be searching everywhere for (Y/n) now!" B.Z states.

"And when they find her, you need to explain that it was you who caused all that damage, not (Y/n)." Chope demands.

Senka scoffs, "You guys should be thanking me. Now you can see how hopeless those people are."

"What are you on about?! You just put a huge target on her back!" Flintlock yells.

I look down, "They're never going to trust me again."

"And that's good, that means they won't be holding you back anymore," Senka tells me.

I clench my fist and glare at my shadow, "Why are you so desperate to cut my ties to everyone I love?!"

Senka glares right back at me, "Because as long as you continue to stay with them, you'll stay weak. And I refuse to let that happen, especially if there can be something done about it."

"(Y/n) is anything but weak, you lousy shadow." Dogshake growls.

"What is wrong with you?!" B.J snaps. "This isn't you, you used to be so happy for her, but now you're just downright bitter and mean."

"Oh that," Senka says before looking bored again, "You didn't really believe that did you?"

"Wait? That was all an act?!" B.K yells.

Senka shrugs, "Of course it was. Did you really think I wanted to deal with all that hero stuff? Now that Ninjago has seen (Y/n) destroy the city, they won't see her as a hero anymore."

"Not for long." B.Z states. "We'll tell the ninja about you, and then we can clean up this giant mess you made."

Senka let's out a laugh, "Do you really think they would believe you? I'm her shadow, anything I do is going to be reflected onto her."

Everyone sat in silence, not knowing how to counter her words.

"That may be so, but there are still people who'd be willing to give her a chance." Kapow states.

Mason then spoke up, gesturing to himself and the others.

"Yeah! What Mason said!" Chope said.

"We'll s-s-stay by our l-l-leader's side 'til the e-e-end." Says Clancee as Monkey Wrench screeches in agreement.

Senka seemed to smirk, "Oh yeah, and what will they say?" She gestures to the door.

We suddenly hear a banging on the door.

Everyone's eyes widen as we look at the front door.

B.K and Flintlocke turn to each other and nod. Flintlocke draws his pistols and B.K turns to me, "Stay here, we'll handle this."

B.K and Flintlocke runs over to the front door and steps outside. Chope and Kapow both grab one of my arms, taking me upstairs.

"The ninja are one of the only people who know about this place, and I highly doubt they're here to hang out." Kapow says.

"You need to get to the roof and escape on (D/n)." Chope states.

"Where will I go?" I ask.

"It dosen't matter, just keep going until you're away from here." Kapow tells me.
