Neko 7.0: Caramel Cuties

Felix was busy with his own chores and doing his interior design work for the client speaking on the phone with Miya, closer when it got to dinner time he started to make Chan's food.

"Hm...it needs more salt!" He giggled tasting the sauce, the hybrid was cooking spaghetti and chicken Parmesan for the older as a surprise. It didn't take him too long, but he finished around 6 pm setting the table and waiting on the couch for the older.

*meow*

He meowed to himself watching TV cuddling his blanket, then he heard his phone ringing.

"Hm? Oh! It's Channie!"

He purred picking up to answer the call.

"Channie!"

"Hey baby how's my cute kitten?~"

"I'm great Channie! I just finished making dinner a while ago! Will you be home soon?" He meowed eagerly.

"Aw how sweet, and yes-"

*Knock*Knock*

*meow*

Felix's cat ears perked up hearing sounds from their door, he looked over his shoulder to see the handle clicking some.

"Channie? You're home already? Yay!" Felix jumped off the couch running to the door meowing, Chan was confused at what he said.

"Wait, what? I'm still-"

"I'm coming to open the door Channie!" Felix excitedly ran to the door about to do so, Chan realized someone was at their residence and it was not him...

"Baby that's not-"

"Channie is home! Yay-"

"Kitten do not open that door!!"

*meow*

Felix stopped right near it with his small hand on the handle when he heard Chan yell through the phone. He became quiet twirling his tail.

"But...why Channie-"

"Kitten I'm not anywhere close to home right now, that's not me on the other side of that door. Do not open it" Chan said seriously to him, Felix slowly stepped back removing his hand.

"Then...who is it-"

"*sigh* Sweetie, check the screen on the wall please. So you can see who it is, remember that's why I got that added to our security system?" Chan tried to say calmly to him, Felix meowed turning to do so.

"Oh...ok!"

Chan on the other hand felt his anxiety waver, times like this when he would leave the boy alone...his innocence would get the best of him.

"Channie, I don't see anyone...?" Felix meowed.

"What? Are you sure-"

"Oh wait! I see something hanging on our door!" Felix meowed going to the door.

"Kitten you be careful opening that door, look outside slowly" Chan cautioned him, Felix quietly did so peeking out.

*meow*

He sniffed around indeed smelling a persons scent that was now gone, but looked to see a note and a box in a clear bag hanging from the handle.

"A bag...?" Felix reached for it, it wasn't too heavy but he brought it inside closing the door.

"Kitten? What did you-"

"Channie it's a bag, there's a note on it...from...oh it's from Yuyu! She sent us a cake delivered as a surprise!" He giggled reading the note, Chan let out a sigh of relief. He always has paranoia of someone cat-napping him again...so he was glad it was just a delivery.

"That's all? Oh...ok. Thank god, um...well I guess we'll send her a thank you in regards"

"Yes Channie! She's always so nice! I wonder what cake it is-"

"Bang Felix"

*meow*

Felix timidly meowed hearing his full name again...

"Y-yes Channie?"

"Kitten, it's scenarios like this I tell you to look before opening the door. Someone could have broke in and hurt you, understand?" Chan scolded him.

"Yes Channie...I will..." Felix mumbled putting the cake on the table in the kitchen.

"Because you can't assume it's me at the door, you must always be careful" Chan tried to help him understand, he knew with Felix's high innocence and distraction tendencies he had to keep close attention on the hybrid as always.

*meow*

"Good kitty, well...I'll be leaving the office in about 15 minutes. So-"

"Ok Channie! I'm gonna have some cake first! Bye!" He excitedly wanted to start eating it.

"Huh?? Kitten-"

*Beep*Beep*

"Goodness..." Chan sighed putting his phone away, knowing Felix wanting to eat cake...that meant...

And another hyper cat I'll have when I get home...god give me stamina
