Chan was still asleep while Felix explored around, he met some nice hybrid patients walking around.
"Hi! I'm San!"
"H-hi San! I'm Felix! What are you here for...?"
"Oh! I had surgery on my arm! I broke it...what about you?" He showed Felix his cast.
"Really? Does it hurt a lot still...? And my tail was injured...so I had to get a bunch of needles for it to feel better..." Felix mumbled turning some to show a bit of his tail.
"I'm ok! And oh...I hope it feels better! It's really pretty!"
"Thank you!"
*meow*meow*
As Felix made hybrid friends...Chan finally woke up...
"Hm...kitten?" Chan hummed reaching to cuddle him, he felt his hand around the bed but it was empty...
Hm?
He opened his eyes to see Felix gone, now sitting up to see the room empty too.
"Kitten?? Baby??" Chan got out of bed slipping his shoes on calling for him, he got no response starting to panic.
"Princess...! Where are you??" Chan checked the bathroom and closet...but still no Felix. He ran out the room looking up and down the halls, seeing a nurse to ask him.
"Excuse me! Did you see a hybrid patient with a blue eye just like mine leave here??"
"No sir I haven't, some of patients do take walks around the premises though. Maybe your hybrid? Went for a short walk, the hospital specializes in hybrids so we do have extra facilities for them!"
"Facilities? Like what...?"
"Oh! I'll show you!"
The nurse showed Chan a map of the hospital seeing they had different floors for things hybrids would like, small aquarium. A bird sanctuary and for flowers too. He didn't realize it the first time they came to it.
They have all these?? I didn't know...wait! Felix is probably at one of these!
Chan went rushing to the different floors looking for him, he went to the small Aquarium room looking for Felix...with luck and relief, he found the boy there with another hybrid.
Found him...
He walked closer to see Felix and a male hybrid talking while meowing at the fish.
*meow*
*meow*
Cute~
"Look San! It's Nemo!"
"I see Dory too!" He giggled back both watching the fish swim around, Chan became soft watching the interaction.
My heart
He inched closer as both hybrids heard Chan's footsteps.
*meow*

"Hey kitten~"
"Channie? Channie hi!" Felix turned around seeing the older approach him.
"Hey princess, I woke up and saw my kitty was gone from me" Chan teased some gently hugging him, Felix gasped realizing he forgot to tell the older.
"I'm sorry Channie...! I-I forgot..." he meowed sadly, Chan smiled kissing his hands.
"Princess it's ok, you're still recovering. I see you made a new kitty friend? Hi, I'm Chan" Chan greeted her.
"Oh hi! I'm San! You have a cool eye like Felix!" He meowed to them, Chan blushed with a nod.
"Nice to meet you San, and thanks-"
