Chan set up the appointment for Felix's procedure to get it done that same week since he kept feeling strange with his tail.

He told the boy to let Joshua at work know, Chan did the same putting in the days off.

And soon enough the night before the procedure came, Chan was explaining to Felix again what will happen.

"So, she will take the needle and inject it at the nerve points. You'll be asleep and nothing will hurt, and no food after midnight tonight kitten" Chan held the boy in his lap sitting on the couch.

"Ok Channie! I'll be good! Can I get ice creams after the surgery??" Felix asked with excitement, Chan smiled glancing to his tail and gently petting his head.

"Yes baby, as much as kitten wants..."

"Yay! Thank you Channie! I can't wait for my tail to feel better!" Felix hugged him, Chan gave a him hugging him back feeling anxious about the success rate...

"Me too kitten..."

I pray it does...he needs his tail...

The next morning both had to wake up really early to check in around 6 am for the procedure that would start at 8am. Felix was nervous but Chan gave him his anxiety medication to help some.

"Ok kitten, this is the room you'll be staying in for recovery" Chan said after the nurse left, Felix saw how nice the room looked with pink walls and big TV.

"Wow! This is all for me??" Felix meowed happily looking around.

"Well, I do pay an upcharge to choose the room...but you love pink. And I wanted you to be comfortable when you recover" Chan blushed some looking around too, Felix giggled going up to him hugging him.

"Thank you Channie! Channie is always best lover!"

"And kitty is best kitty~
Let me help you change out of your clothes, then the nurse will give you the IV" Chan put some bags down he brought from home on the couch in the corner. Felix already pouted hearing the IV needle.

"I don't want needles Channie..." he meowed sadly looking down, Chan sighed going up to him kissing his nose.

"Kitten this is the only needle you have to be awake for to take, ok? Please be a good kitty" Chan pleaded, Felix nodded but pouted still.

Chan helped him change out his clothes into the hospital gown, leaving on his panties of course making Chan blush some more...

Oh my...

"Done Channie! Now what?" He asked Chan since it was his first surgery ever.

"Good kitty, now...kitten rests in bed and the nurse will come with the IV" Chan picked him up to lay in the bed, he pulled the blankets over him in case he felt cold.

*meow*

Eventually the nurse came to do his IV, Chan held his hand trying to distract him with affection while the nurse inserted it in his arm.

"Great job Felix! I'll let Dr. Park know and she'll be in shortly!"

"Oh...thank you..." Felix mumbled feeling pain in his arm already, Chan sighed sitting close holding his hand kissing it.

"Don't worry baby, it won't take long and your tail will feel better. Your anxiety ok now?" Chan kissed his nose.

"Ok...I-I think so-"

"Chan? Felix kitty? Hi!" Jihyo entered the room, it was different to see her in scrubs instead of her usual clothes at the office.

"Hey Jihyo" Chan smiled to her.
