Chan let the two talk for a bit, then Jihyo slipped back out.
"Jihyo?? What-"
"He needs some more time alone Chan...let's talk and have tea! Ok?" She gestured time the kitchen, Chan nodded with a sigh.
"Ok..."
Chan sat down as she prepared tea, she brought out tea cookies and honey sticks to serve as she told Chan everything after she found Felix.
"He really thinks I hate him...?" Chan asked her sadly.
"Well...considering what happened...he feels so..."
"Jihyo, listen...I'll admit I did yell at him today more than I expected...but...he did something that almost-"
"Oh I heard, almost a lawsuit...your job, everything" she sipped her tea.
"Ya...I was only trying to explain to him-"
"Chan let me tell you, something very similar happened to me with Nayeon too" she gave a small laugh.
"It did...?" Chan raised an eyebrow.
"Mmhm, when I had starting working at the practice I am now. I didn't have many patients....so Nayeon thought she was doing the right thing to get me some...and by that, well...she pretty much made flyers and handed them out to hundreds of hybrids saying I'm new and for them to see me...but if they do, I'd give them any free surgery they needed"
"WHAT?! Holy shit...that-"
"Ohhh yes, so many hybrids showed up requesting all sorts of free things and surgeries. I asked them what they were talking about...then I found out it was Nayeon...she meant well, oh but did she cause a big problem" Jihyo laughed.
"God damn...what did you do?"
"Similar thing as you, had to get many People involved. I was almost suspended...but they knew Nayeon didn't mean harm...so I pretty much had to reprimand her as well...she was upset because she thought I was angry too...but all in all, I know it was good intent...kinda like what Felix did"
"Wow...um...and yes, I know he means well...he-"
"Is a very sweet and innocent hybrid, and very very sensitive we both know...so that's why he kept thinking you hate him. I know that's not true, I see the love you give him all the time" she smiled, Chan smiled some back looking at his cup.
"I do...I very much do...and I want to make things right between him and I..." Chan muttered, Jihyo giggled standing up.
"I think I know how~"
"You do...?"
Felix was in the playroom cuddling a pillow Jihyo gave him and watching TV, then he heard the door open.
*meow*
"Jihyo...?"
"Felix kitty I left you a treat at the door!" She yelled from the cracked door, Felix meowed sniffing the air as he sat on the floor with plushies.
*meow*
"Treats...?" He began to purr, because both her and Chan know, Felix can't resist treats.
*meow*
"Yes Felix kitty! Come to the door~" Jihyo said louder, Felix smiled and purred letting the pillow go as he began to meow and crawl over to the door.
*meow*
He smelled something sweet, he could tell something was tea and another was...
Honey!!
And Chan knows Felix's weakness for it.
